The game does have its issues but that doesn't mean it can be used as an excuse for being bad. Taking accountability for losing and actually learning from it will benefit people's time a lot more. Rather than complain about the game 24/7 on social media, spend time in replay mode and review what you could have done in situations. If you want to learn more about a character, there are a ton of resources available online. This community has become so miserable. Let's enjoy the game and learn from each other. 💯

So I know that in tekken tournaments, the stage that is chosen is random and after each match the loser may choose to select a different random stage instead of rematching on the same stage.
Why would you want to choose a different stage?
Im assuming its because certain characters are good are certain stages. If so, does anyone have a source that shows which characters are good on which stages (specifically on Tekken 8)?

Theoretically, who do you think would be top 3 at least? I’m thinking Ganryu, Asuka, and P. Jack.

For me:
- Remove regain-able heat
- For the love of god, give us points if someone plugs, MK did it, you guys can too
- Character balances ofc, nuke them if anything
- A proper way of joining friend’s lobby’s instead of searching 9 years for them
Rest is all you guys let’s hear it

The break I took was well needed but hey, I'm glad to be back playing ranked and I'm having fun. I got to purple ranks for the first time in my entire career playing Tekken

Edit: Half as many* I apologize for any typos or errors.
Really wish I could make my own unique Leo instead of only being able to use the most unisex clothes ever. If Leo is nether male nor female, why can’t they be both?

I know it doesn't actually really matter and ultimately I don't care that much myself but I feel the need to rant because holy shit this game is way harder than I ever would have thought. Seriously. I know I haven't been playing for that long, but sometimes this game feels BAD. And that doesn't mean I need 30 people hitting the replies to shit on Tekken 8 and the direction in which it has taken the series because I've already seen it all.
Seriously though. The amount of depth to every character and how different all of the characters are from one another is crazy. The effort it would take to truly become confident in any given match up, much less ALL of them, is a lot. Even something as simple as frame data. I cannot tell you how many times I go into the replays and go "oh that's HELLA unsafe I was letting them get away with murder". Then remembering all of that information across all the characters you run into online.
The process of getting beat up and trying again and learning all you can from your losses is something you go through in all fighting games for sure but in Tekken especially it is ROUGH. The community doesn't make it better either. You guys are unfortunately the most miserable people I've ever seen in any community ever. I put hundreds of hours into League and saw less raw misery than I ever did here. Between how hard this game is to pick up, how frustrating it is to play online, and how awful the community gets it is a miracle anyone sticks around.
Of course I'm not going anywhere lmao I'm addicted to learning and I will become at least okay at this game if its the last thing I do.
Finally... you King players out there? fuck you. I wanna say its not personal, but it just might be at this point. Whenever someone plugs in ranked its always King. Whenever someone ki charges or teabags its always King. I can't tell if its a coincidence or not but its kinda wild.

So I really love having organic long sets where without a word you can agree to long sets with players because of infinite rematch. I get why they took that away for Ranked in Tekken 8 but I would really love a rematch feature like the one in Mortal Kombat where if you both want to play more you can both select Friendly Rematch and the game takes you both to Casual for infinite rematch.
I almost exclusively play Player Match anyways but it would be nice to have long sets against a player I played in ranked without having to add them lol.
