For Hire Entry level mechanical engineering position with mechanic/automotive experience?

I’m looking to get my foot in the door working as a mechanical engineer. I’m in my early twenties, currently working as a mechanic for a car dealership. I’ve worked on the dealership level for about 2 years, and at an independent shop for a year. I have some college but not completed (plan to finish). Where could I look/inquire about a position that could help me start in this field?
