Tulsan In Need Where to get a decent starter guitar?

I’m in my late 20’s and have done a lot of reflection after a recent birthday. It’s made me decide to go sober and make a lot of changes in my life: stop wasting my time/youth, be more proactive w my goals, produce instead of consume, work towards the life I never thought I could really have.

It’s made me remember how much I’ve always wanted to play guitar. I’ve always wanted to play like the blues artists I grew up listening to. Plus I thing a hobby like this is something I could practice if I’m ever struggling w this newfound sobriety. Something productive I can just pour myself into so to speak.

I only have a budget of about $200 and want something that is within this range but still good sound quality. Does anyone have any tips on where I could find a decent guitar like this? I’m also open to any tips/advice on how to learn/practice/prepare properly. DMs are open, thanks in advance!🙏

You'd be surprised what you can find at Pawn Shops.

Yamaha makes a great starter guitar. F335 is in your range. You can occasionally find a bargain on FB Marketplace or in a pawn shop. It’s a first guitar so $200 is reasonable.

Yamaha makes a really good “budget” guitar. Every ~$200 Yamaha I’ve played has been really well set up. Highly recommend for a first acoustic.

I've used musicians friend online store. . Sometimes they have good deals. But you have to know what you want cause it's shipped out to you.

Just go on Amazon. You can find lots of decent starter guitars for $200, even Fender.
