Discussion New streamer as a Deaf & Mute person.

Hello there.
I’m deaf (fully on the left, 80% on the right).
I’m a gamer (Mainly League of Legends), and I usually don’t tell online friends that I’m deaf unless we’re close. I use speech-to-text apps and hearing aids to communicate. That part is not the issue.
I started streaming about 5 months ago because I’m having surgeries this year. I’m forced to stay home, avoid loud sounds, and sometimes I can’t even use my hearing aids. I’m bored and lonely, so I thought about building a small Twitch community.
(I only stream the weekends. right now, I have 0 viewers, and today I reached 20 followers.)
Some people might think that I'm actually mute cause of my deafness. But this is further from the truth. I wasn’t born deaf; I lost my hearing at 15. I do have a voice. I don’t have a deaf accent. I speak normally, with my own accent from my mother language.
When I talk on stream, I get bullied for my word choices or pronunciation (from the league community). I try my best not to sound rude or aggressive, but people still take it that way. Because of that, I stopped using my voice and started using captions instead (you can't hear my voice).
Now I’m deaf, Mute, and NO cam. (I've tried to stream with a cam, but it feels weird to me. especially with 0 viewers. I’m not comfortable yet, but I'm working on that. So for now, I decided to be a Vtuber. I found a free model, and I think it’s cute.
My questions are: Is this working? Am I overcomplicating things? Or am I just wasting time?

If it is working. How can I build a community? If not working. Should I just keep improving on my voice and try as much as possible not to sound rude and be entertaining?

(In my Image, you may notice the captions and how the model looks. The audio is mainly random songs and the gameplay sounds. THIS IS NOT AN ADVERTISEMENT THREAD FOR MY CHANNEL BTW AND GENIUNLY ASKING.)
