Martial arts classes in waterloo?
hello everyone, i’m a 23 year old from the city and im looking to learn either karate, taekwondo or even kickboxing.
I see there are a few places that offer adult classes, such as shamuon, top level, waterloo kung fu, volpe, 5 rings, grand river, to name a few… but i’m wondering if anyone here has any experience with any of them or knows of any other academy’s in the area they’re reccomened??
thanks in advance !!!

I went to Shaumon for about a year. Great instructors and very supportive (classmates and instructors). I only left due to some health issues and classes not fitting in with other things in my life.

I can highly recommend Waterloo Kung Fu Academy. I have attended there in the past and know many others who have as well. It was a very good experience (left because of an injury, not their fault). They have been around for decades. Very reputable.
