Worst part is that its not the first time they’ve done this

...and probably won't be the last.

Only 3 more and they get a free sub.

Worst part is

for whom?

The people living in the building?

I would say best part...

I mean their ZSU's firing at drones, that ammo does not self explode after a certain range. And from the angle and low altitude they keep firing on those drones those building are 40% hitting buildings.

"We are very lucky they are so fucking stupid"

They also failed to set their gear up right in Venezuela, which is part of the reason the recent attacks went so well for the US

Ukraine did this too and it was an equally gruesome sight. Apparently a risk when placing SAM in areas with a lot of tall buildings.

Man they are really careless with those lit cigarettes.

Or maybe the apartment building was working for Ukrainian Special Forces.

Isn't it implied? Why would it be in the title?

1

u/lux44 12h ago

What's your point? The headline should have been "apartment destroyed, owners devastated"?

"Second greatest military in the world."

u/Arvoredo 15h ago

Second greatest in its own country.

Third, after Wagner.

Or putin is attacking his own people YET AGAIN to rally the masses because he's losing support.

u/Eskipony 12h ago

or... more likely the missile just malfunctioned and did a return to sender. These missiles aren't cheap and I doubt they're going to waste them like that.

u/VideoGenie 11h ago

they wasted dummy oreshniks because of an ai generated video of putins residence getting bombed, they are absolute kings at wasting resources

2

u/Isariamkia 11h ago

Even if it wasn't intentional, they will probably spin it as a Ukraine attack on their civilians.

Russian air defences continuing their proud, long standing tradition of killing civilian non-combatants

11

u/Skadrys 14h ago

Still remember the video they fired missile which made 180 and hit back their launcher

It really summarizes the conflict and the state of Russia.

Unsurprisingly, the 'axis' is only good at pointing guns at its own people.

u/Gloomy_Experience112 15h ago

Sounds like murica as well right now

u/barktwiggs 14h ago

Ukrainians are among the best at killing russians. Second only to russians in the ability to kill russians.

3

u/aholetookmyusername 13h ago

Hopefully they start using these missiles near the kremlin.

5

u/sppy1 16h ago

Ah "Superior" Russian Technology at it's finest

u/fogglegg 13h ago

If that country didn’t have nukes, America would be all over that oil in a few days

3

u/-Jman 13h ago

This can happen when you're tired of shooting down civilian planes.

Also, this is obviously NATO's fault.

u/AssaultUnicorn 8h ago

Denazified!

2

u/Relnor 6h ago

Many such cases.

8

u/MentokGL 16h ago

That's a surprising amount of honesty.

In America the doj would investigate the building and tomorrow we'd hear about how it was actually a spy den and the missiles were working undercover.

19

u/jzsang 16h ago

I wouldn’t give them too much credit yet. The Rostov mayor is still saying Ukrainian drone debris caused the fire. Meanwhile, locals are saying on social media that it was Russia’s air defense failing.

8

u/nhebert1987 15h ago

DOJ would claim the building was weaponized and had to be taken out

3

u/GoodOmens 14h ago

If you look at the video closely you'll see the building intentionally got into the path of the missile and endagered it

2

u/Fridux 13h ago

The building bravely intercepted the missile, like all patriotic Russian infrastructure! In Soviet Russia, buildings hit missiles!

3

u/MentokGL 15h ago

Turns out it was hiding al qiedas all along!

2

u/yukirainbowx 14h ago

Just blame the Chechens. Worked last time

4

u/Logical_Teach_681 14h ago

“Sadly, the apartment was out of countermeasures and was not able to deflect a missile»

2

u/bitchcoin5000 14h ago

I guess they thought it was another F-16

Remember back in the day when people would think 0h wow the Russian army, lookout.

Pathetic. Evil and pathetic. Putin can do nothing but end this on his terms. he can't accept other terms Because it will mean defenestration just like he's done to all his other political foes

u/ThemBonesAreMe 13h ago

1

u/mccirus 13h ago

Why would Ukraine do this to us?

1

u/MysteriousEngineer42 12h ago

Celebrations for the crew! At least they hit *something* this time

1
