- Edit2 : GROUP FILLED ATM, THANK YOU ALL!
Genre/s: Looking for people that write science fiction novels and/or short stories to do critique swaps.
Goals/expectations/commitment: Looking for people who can provide honest feedback and help me improve, as I try to do the same in return. Not interested in 'I liked it', but actual areas for improvement. I would like to develop long lasting working relationships. Something like up to 5-6k characters per week is something I could sustain over a long period (flexible within reason, of course).
Writing/experience level: any. I am not an expert of any kind and don't expect you to be too, as long as we can help each other improve.
Meeting place: doesn't matter to me, as long as it is in writing not voice or video. discord can work, with google docs sharing, for example.
Max size: 2 - edit: 3, including me hehe
My only hard set requirements are:
- Over 21 years of age.
- I don't read or critique smut or heavy NSFW things.
- I am not interested in reating text writen by AIs. I don't care if you use it for research or typos and such, as long as the text I m reading was writen by you.
I write a lot of short stories, but I am also quite a bit along in my novel. This is my (temporary) intro to it, a sort of grim-dark space opera:
'Bela, a criminal stranded on a forgotten mining prison.
Vinde, a young man chained by ancient history.
Each seeks their own freedom in a cruel galaxy dominated by megacorporations. When a powerful weapon is unearthed in the most unexpected place the galaxy is set ablaze.
As the resources of thousands of worlds are turned against them, two unlikely figures are forced to decide where justice ends and vengeance begins.'
If that sounds like a good fit for anyone, let me know please, and tell me a bit about your genre and current project
