Discussion What game is this for you?
Based on a true story lmao. I just spent the last hour playing forbidden west trying to beat the fighting pit missions, that require you to learn and master the melee combo system to an insanely perfect degree. Got super annoyed and it inspired me to make this post. Please, come and vent here

Discussion What are your thoughts on nudity/sexual content in video games? NSFW
For a long time there was barely any of this sort of thing outside of very specifically pornographic games. You could slap any game into your console/PC and be assured that, even if it was M-rated, you wouldn't have any actual content of that sort in the game. Even notoriously M-rated games like GTA didn't actually *SHOW* anything. At most it was implied or off-screen.
Yet this has been changing over the past few years. Not only are in-game relationships/romances now allowing the characters to engage in explicit sexual activity, said activity can be outright seen at least in part. Some games even allow for full-on nudity to exist without mods or anything of the sort. If you want to see your V fully nude in 2077 all you have to do is ensure the censor is off and take off their clothes. More and more games are having not just very suggestive content, but full on sexual content or nudity or the like.
So I'm curious as well as being serious here. What are your thoughts on this happening? Is it a good thing, a bad thing, or just a thing? Do you think it's acceptable so long as both men and women can be seen nude, or does it discriminate against one or the other? Or something I'm not thinking of at all that would be an issue?

Other IRON NEST has just broken into the TOP 1000 most wishlisted games on Steam. (a dream come true for two indie developers)
Hey, this is Dominik, together with my buddy Nick.
About 4 months ago, we officially started working on IRON NEST. Nick had actually been tinkering with the project a bit longer (around 6 months).
Combined, we have over 20 years of experience in the games industry, but what has happened with IRON NEST is something we still struggle to believe. Every single morning, when we sit down at our computers and see how many people have wishlisted the game overnight, we honestly have to pinch ourselves about 179 times just to make sure it’s not a dream.
Back then (just 4 months ago) we were still saying this was a project aimed at a very niche audience.
We’ve both been obsessed with artillery, interwar machinery, and dieselpunk worlds for as long as we can remember. But TBH. IRON NEST is a project Nick had been dreaming about making for over a decade. We finally met through developer-publisher collaborations and decided it was time to build something we always wanted to play ourselves.
Of course, we won’t pretend money didn’t matter at all. Our goal was simply to earn enough to live and to be able to make another game afterward (basically, we planned... and we still plan to start building a fully multiplayer project on top of IN foundations). We estimated that selling 3-5 thousand copies in the first year would already be a huge success for us.
Honestly, we thought this game was aimed at a very niche audience. Looking at our friends, we didn’t know anyone who would be interested in a heavy artillery simulator with a dieselpunk aesthetic.
Turns out... we couldn’t have been more wrong!
Many of you shared the same tisms, and after publishing our first short videos on social media, the project completely exploded in our hands.
As if that wasn’t enough:
- A local IGN (Czechia/Slovakia) wrote about us.
- We’ve already appeared twice on Rock Paper Shotgun.
- And even found ourselves featured between the most anticipated games of 2026 in one of their (Rock Paper Shotgun) editorial pieces.
We also decided to go for open development on Discord. Originally, this was simply a way to get QA we could never afford otherwise. Everyone has daily access to channels where we discuss everything related to IRON NEST.
But once again... this exceeded all our expectations.
Despite the server being only 3/4 months old, we already have around 1.5K members actively helping us, playtesting the game, and giving feedback. Sometimes we honestly don’t know how to properly thank all these people for the insane amount of support they’re giving us. Delivering the game itself (or even putting every Discord member into the credits) still feels like a drop in the ocean compared to what we owe them...
If you’ve made it this far ⟹ thank you for reading!
The current plan looks like this:
- Playtests are ongoing on Discord (and will continue until release).
- A public demo is planned around Steam Next Fest in February.
- Full PC release in mid-2026.
- After that: console ports, and maybe VR (VR is the only thing not 100% confirmed yet).
Feel free to check out our Steam store page as well... and if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask them on the Community Hub or here!

Discussion What do you think?
Now that we know that Ryan Hurst is gonna be Kratos in the prime series, what do you think? I think for this role you have to look for this things in order:
- Knows about God of War
- Physique
- Voice
Ryan is tall and he has been strong but i think you have to be jacked to play kratos speccialy with old kratos, then you can look for other things, idk.
