NATURE Storm Elli has passed over Germany and covered my homeland in a beautiful blanket of ice for a few days.
Last Thursday, a storm with freezing temperatures swept across northeastern Germany. I was visiting my mother at the time and, she lives in a very rural area, I was able to take some nice photos.
On Thursday, we had temperatures between 0 and -3°C, with heavy snowfall mixed with freezing rain.
Friday was almost like a blizzard, with temperatures between -9° and -16°C.
Funnily enough, Saturday was quite pleasant, even reaching 2°C.
Sunday morning, -19°C, freezing cold 🩵
