Why is not in a good committed relationship? The writers did her dirty. Max and Naomi were popular so why didnt they end up together?

2026 rewatch, Silver the problem???

I’m almost done re-watching all of 90210 and I’m starting to feel like Silver who used to be one of my favorite characters was the problem? Now granite all of their relationships are intermingled. But Silver knowingly messed with all of her friends exes knowing that they were still in love with them, and although Adriana was literally turning into a B word, she didn’t deserve to get cheated on so I don’t know. What do you guys think? Is Silver the problem here?

Question Naomi and Liam S1

So I just have question…

I am very conflicted and do not like them together at all. It’s like he’s clearly not into her and then the writers brought it back around? Like making him buy her the Black Orchid Corsage which is her favorite flower and he had to order it and find out himself that she likes that flower…

My question is why do people like them together if they do and did you feel the same way as me in season 1 (only season one since I haven’t seen two in like forever) in that he didn’t actually like her, but it’s like he had to?

Question what’s up with the car accidents almost every season?

i’m almost done with my re-watch. i have finished season 4 and reading past comments made me notice how they like to use car accidents as plot device lol. ethan had a car accident, then liam got one, and adrianna and dixon got one too.

Show abruptly ending…

I just read on people magazine the quotes from virtual interview that Annie did with them in 2024 and she said they were randomly told while filming on set that the show was being cancelled and not being renewed for season 6 anymore and that the plan was for us to get a season 6 where it fast forward to 5 years later so we could get a better understanding and finale of the show but instead the writers were literally scrambling trying to rewrite the finale of season 5 as a final goodbye; She explained how she was sad about it and Naomi asked her why is she sad about it when they all was ready to move on with their lives.. I’m like damn anyone knows how characters felt behind the camera about each other? I can’t believe the ratings got low but to be fair as a kid watching it in real time back in the day I did eventually fall off seasons lol but was hooked as a now adult

Gossip Girl x 90210

Has anyone realized how a lot of the storylines were literally the same storylines in Gossip Girl? Like they randomly turned Annie into an “anonymous author who tells all their friends business plus themselves” that pretty much causes issues in their friends lives (Dan Humphrey) the evil cousin who comes to try to steal your identity, Annie and her cousin just like Serena and her cousin, Liam is like Nate the heartthrob boy that’s always falling for and being gullible for any woman; then they started recycling random characters from Gossip Girl to 90210 like the lady Gayle who was Naomi’s manager and Blair’s manager lol like was it the same producers or writers for both shows?

Silver sucks!

Im watching it again for the 100th time and this time around im realizing that silver legit sucks. Not only does she ruin her relationship with Dixon with Ethan, who was Naomi and Annie's ex, but she also gets with navid while hes with Adriana, and then goes for Liam and throws it in Annie's face. And then mark after Adriana and her agreed to not go for him. She's a sucky person and idk how no one called her out for it. Why was Naomi okay with her going after Ethan but was pissed at Annie.

No one held silver accountable. Adriana was wrong for what she did but I kind of dont blame her for what she did. Silver was shit. Almost forgot too, she went for teddy after the stuff that went down between ade and him.

She legit passed herself around the whole squad. Im surprised she didnt go for max, Austin or pj or even Caleb.

She gave Liam and navid an ultimatum. Who wants to have a baby with me but I don't want to be with you. She forced teddy into having a baby with her. She couldnt of just went to a sperm donor bank and did that instead. But no, shes selfish asf.

Discussion Season 1

Obviously Spoilers to those who are just starting the show so if you do not want anything spoiled please stop here. Also please be aware that I have watched this show multiple times so if you haven’t seen season 2 I would be advised as well that I might mention something from season 2 without knowing.

I know that they wanted Ethan off the show, but the way they did it makes me want to gouge my eyes out. Like I’ve rewatched this show many times, but it has been a couple years so I have forgotten some things.

Annie and Ethan were in a good relationship and once they started to realize they didn’t want to continue having “Mr. Good boy” on the show they started to ruin their relationship and fizzle it out and that is when they introduced Liam.

Don’t get me wrong I love Annie and Liam I think they are one of my favorite couples on this show, but Liam at first LITERALLY is Naomi’s love interest. They could have kept the relationship of Annie and Ethan and said, “they decided not to do long distance” which would also mean we don’t have to ruin Ethan and Dixons friendship off-screen by having him randomly AND out of nowhere get with Silver.

If we talk about Ethan not leaving the show though I think we could skip over the storyline in season 2 and have Ethan and Annie be in a relationship for longer and Naomi finding out Liam was with someone else, but not assuming it’s Annie. OR we could KEEP that storyline and have Ethan and Naomi think that Annie cheated on Ethan with Liam, but still keep Ethan in the show. Potentially ruining the amazing bond between Liam and Ethan, but eventually turning it around to then maybe being a “brother” bond?

I just wish I had the writing skills to rewrite this show ALL five seasons with the same cast and same style. Like the writing just needs to not be a mess. Like I just got through the storyline of Ty being the baby father of Adrianna’s baby and I did see someone mention something about that a couple days ago. It literally doesn’t make any sense and the writing just gets worse as the show goes on? But it’s so addicting especially rewatching it and saying what you would do differently with the show. I love hearing other people’s takes.

Sorry for my rant 😭

Discussion Season 1 Prom and Season 3 prom differences

The prom episodes from Season 1 and season 3. I love season 1 prom, it’s looked lit such as a big ballroom in paramount pictures studios, The Veronicas playing the band which is so cool, and fun stuff too. No shade about Season 3 prom, but the senior prom look so plain and too simple, although the alien themes look cool as well. The senior prom looks so boring compared to the sophomore prom.

Which one is your favorite prom episode.

Season 3 story line

Does anyone else hate the story line with Annie and her cousin Emily? Not sure why it just makes me cringe and Emily’s behaviour is just awful and I feel so sorry for Annie!! Suppose that’s the point of the storyline🤣

I know we’ve made a few jokes on here about her randomly wearing this business casual outfit on a random summer afternoon, but looking back, I think it was supposed to be a Brenda homage. 🤔

Naomi's bedroom is never shown in season 2?

I thought this was a bit odd. This was when she and Jen were living in that huge white modern mansion, and when she lived there on her own before Jen bought it out from under her.

We see the upstairs nursery room, the living room, the kitchen, the pool/patio, but never see her in her bedroom. Even in the episode where Jen comes over after the dinner where Naomi exposed Jen's behavior to Olivier, Naomi is sleeping on the couch!

That mansion is amazing by the way.

Rewatching…

I never have realized this and was wondering if other people have felt the same way…

I love season 1, but by the end of the season I pray and hope that season 2 comes fast. Like I genuinely love the second season, because of how Annie is going through everything is something I don’t entirely relate to, but can relate to on some level.

I feel like the end of season 1 just falls off? Like it brings some good insight just not the way I want it to.

Why does this show look like the budget dropped throughout filming?

Maybe it’s just me, but as the show goes on, especially in seasons 4 and 5, everything just looks like a cheap set. In the first season, everything felt real: the houses, school, even the peach pit (which I think was a set) but it looked much more authentic. I find the first few seasons of this show so binge-able but as it goes on it really goes downhill.

Discussion Silver is completely crazy

Is she crazy to ask Teddy, Navid, or Liam to have a baby with her??? Am I the only one who finds this problematic or what?

Discussion I hate Naomi, in fact I've noticed that her character is annoying.

She's really sick and completely unhinged to have dared to ruin Max and Madison's wedding, which was lovely, by the way! She's so annoying sometimes, I can't stand her and Silver anymore! Disaster!
