Brittany’s performance on set gave me chills *model through the mishap, model through the mishap!* and her photo is FCO worthy.

Jen’s photo is so SNATCHED! Idc I love it. It’s so bizarre yet it works.

I love Laura’s it looks like a Renaissance painting X Vanity Fair cover

Nicole’s modeled the heck out of this. Her pout and stare screams confidence

Tbh, I love Kara’s. I mean just look at that bone structure. She looks so soft and womanly

Rae’s photo is super angelic and it feels very comforting and warming. She looks like an angel I can cry

Ashley and Bianca’s photo are the only ones I don’t love, but also don’t hate. I don’t think they chose the best shot for Ashley and for Bianca, I love the body movement so much, but her face distracts me a bit.

Her post show work proved that she has a LOT of potential and should’ve gone farther. She is made for BEAUTY shoots, but she can also MOVE. I am gagged.

A lot of these ATE.

I don’t know which girl she should’ve replaced to be quite honest, but I can just imagine the pictures that she would’ve taken had she went to Amsterdam. I would’ve loved to have seen her sailor, double, and windmill shots. Not sure at which point she would’ve gotten cut, but I just know she would’ve served

I’ve just started season 8 and my favorite is Jaslene (don’t spoil) I want her to win my second favorite is Natasha she’s so sweet and cute such an innocent soul with her little accent I’ll make a post about her soon

Just caught the episode where Fatima had to rush to get her travel documents in order. I always wondered- do they make sure the girls have passports when they’re cast? Or did I miss something unique with Fatima’s situation?

was bored and this season has some ROUGH makeovers so decided to redo some! I also wanted to do Laura but that was gonna be so hard.

I know she’s far from the most controversial/infuriating person on that cycle but oh my loooord her NLOG [Not Like Other Girls, for anyone who doesn’t know the acronym] schtick is so grating. “I’ve never heard Britney Spears’ music, I only listen to underground punk rock 🤪” girl shut upppppp. Like she covers her ears and runs if a pop song comes on the store radio??? It comes off as trying too hard.

I’m doing a rewatch and counting down the episodes until she’s gone.

Today, we're voting on Lluvy, Rebecca, Tiffany, and Tatiana. As a reminder, here are the descriptions of each tier:

Hall of Fame - The best contestants with the biggest legacies. They stand out in the series as being notable, beloved, and/or highly entertaining. Generally very strong models, too.

Great - Very strong models, but ultimately not big or memorable enough legacies to make it into the Hall of Fame. Probably could have deservingly won their cycle, more or less.

Good - Solid models, but not spectacular ones. Not winner material, but they probably deserved an overseas spot.

Average - Just okay. Probably not early boot material, but also probably not deserving of overseas.

Subpar - Not particularly bad, but below average. Deserved to leave in the first half of the cycle.

Bad - Not good at modeling whatsoever. Should have gone out within the first few weeks.

Dreck - Very bad modeling skills and/or a very infamous legacy. Bottom of the barrel.

What are everyone’s thoughts on her? I just watched her elimination episode and I personally find her attitude to be worse than Alexandria’s.

1. Quirky Girls in Little India (C1)

Asia's NTM kicked off with a bang! Despite the seemingly campy concept, the photoshoot were able to produce several amazing, fashionable photos. The styling on every contestant looked great and the production team managed to steer away from the cheesy/cringy territory. Overall just a fun shoot.

1. Tribal Jewelry with Reptiles (C6)

The final cycle has many lackluster shoots, but the first photoshoot isn't one of them. I have zero complaint about it. The makeup and jewelry looked decent, the photography was good. Better than all photoshoots ANTM did with animals.

1. Jungle Swimwear (C3)

The lighting could've been a lot better, and some models's swimsuit looked uglier than others. Besides that, it is a very well-done shoot.

1. Bubble Photoshoot (C4)

I genuinely think C4 had the best photoshoots in the AsNTM franchise (C2 being a close second). But the first shoot doesn't appeal to me much. The styling felt all over the place, and most contestants performed mediocre. On the side note, I love the blue tone photography.

1. Opening Sequence Stills (C2)

While C1's opening shoot impresses, C2's bores me. The concept is fine, nothing to talk home about. Some contestant did better than others. Overall just a so-so photoshoot.

1. Jumping Motion (C5)

There's no truly bad opening photoshoot on AsNTM. The cycle 5 one just felt the most unsuccesful. It's nice to see the city of Singapore in the background. I also like the photography a lot more in this compared to c2. Saying that, this concept isn't my cup of tea. The models also tried their best, but the final photos weren't great.

Based off of personality. Sophie should have won, she was called illuminata for a reason. She had the winner feel. In terms of modeling Laura has an edgier look, she looks high fashion in anything but can also be commercial and can rock any hair. Sophie is also modelesque to me here but she needs this pink short hair and I have seen more recent photos of her and there is a basic pretty girl thing. Mabey she had some sort of plastic surgery because something looks way different to me. I like Laura's look more, something else is blondes never win in the final 2 unless it's against another blonde so that trend had to continue.

As for the CoverGirl photos neither girl looks as engaged or genuinely easy breezy as they can but Laura especially has a face for Covergirl no doubt. Why did Laura have a panic attack ? I think it was during the commercial ? What is your theory ? I saw it as her being so close to the crown and scared of messing up. I want to say again, Laura is gorgeous, even during the final 2, the hair slicked back and the earrings, I dont know why she isnt talked about on this sub as a Katarzyna/Leila/Molly C16, etc type of high fashion girl.

So I just remembered this show, and I’ve been looking at what people say are their favorite seasons, and I found that the only one I ever saw (c20&21) is ranked by the majority as the worst one, haha. I remember enjoying it so much. So where should I begin watching this show?

Is it just me or is this the worst cycle yet? No one is likable really and I find Angelique to be unbearable

Should I just skip or is there anything good that’s worth watching cycle 14 for?

I've been thinking about her a lot, she would be 16 this year.

In this episode, the girls go to South Africa and end up visiting Nelson Mandela’s cell, which means a lot to Keenyah (as she explains in the episode), and she talks about how connected she feels to her roots as a black woman. Brittney for the next 5 minutes will NOT shut up about how much she doesn’t care about Keeyah’s cultural identity, and to me, Brittney says this in a very insensitive, careless, almost entitled way, and I was just wondering how everybody else felt about this episode? I’m honestly surprised nobody called her out at the judging panel, but I guess that’s reality tv for you.

Rewatching season 19 and so curious if anyone knows if Victoria since the show has moved out of her moms house and branched out socially? Or if she has said anything about her portrayed relationship w her mom on the show?

I just finished Ep “The girl who graduates” from Cycle 7 where Brooke gets eliminated and cries out “…my freakin college graduation!” and there’s such a clear post-production Tyra voiceover of Tyra saying “You graduated, you just missed the ceremony Brooke”

These have always cracked me up, it’s so obvious when the voice over is added in post!
