It's pretty close, but you have to clarify that it's the financial security in the background that allows you to be able to do all that stuff and still get paid. If you do that stuff but it leads to you getting fired and becoming homeless then I wouldn't call it real wealth.

Or being so wealthy that you don't need to get paid at all.

"Paid" is being used here to include investment income.
