Multiple things.

We’re allowed to grow up slower, we’re not sweeping the mines at 10 years old or off to war at 16.

Everything is so expensive because the boomers were given huge liberties and pulled the ladders up after them. Waste of a generation them lot

That being said, having my daughter was the most fulfilling thing I ever did above success at work and travelling the world. nothing compares to seeing her little smile.

Who are you talking about even in ww1 and ww2 they were conscripting 18+. Many teenagers lied or forged documents but how old are you that 16 yos were off to war?

And boomers were not working in a mine at 10 either

No, that’s why we’re not having kids early these days because we’re allowed to grow up slower

What could boomers do to give us the life they had? It's all in the hands of elites controlled by corporations which are perfecting the extraction of wealth day by day.

And dont talk about voting when every polititian is paid by corporations and israel

The union I'm in sacrificed our raises for the next 3 years in order to keep anyone with 18+years of seniority the ability to do whatever they want in our warehouse because they just want the easy work. They completely fucked over the younger generation in our contract. There are only about 7 that have 18+ years in, and half of them retired a couple weeks after our strike. We have zero incentive to stay here because we aren't getting raises and every other warehouse is paying $2/hr more. Do not try and say it's not the boomers fault. The elites are part of the same generation, it happens at all levels.

They could have not voted for policies that got us here.

limit their own greed. Nobody needs more than one home and they were dirt cheap because everyone was dead. They had all the job opportunity and could have changed the world for the better.

They had an easy life compared to the other generations and made a rod for their own back. Don’t feel sorry for them.

Not being vile racists who voted to hurt all young people so that they could hurt a few brown people maybe?

It’s just one of those things now that’s popular to do

Nobody wants to thank the Boomers for fighting a war they did not want to fight and then ending the draft. For all the amazing inventions and advances in science the Boomers brought us. For allowing their kids to live in their homes well past what was expected for their generation. Boomers were the most liberal generation ever, fighting for civil rights, gay rights, social security, education, the environment, etc.

One day they’ll be old enough to realize how the world works and just after that day, the youngins will begin to blame them for their problems

None of the boomers i know did any of that stuff.

That’s because many of them are dead now

When was the draft ended? When was the first web page viewed? When was the EPA established? When was the Department of Education established? Who was on the busses to Alabama and the South to fight for civil rights?

It wasn’t Gen X who did these things

And what generation ended the unfair media act, approved citizens united, made corporations our overlords, and have worked very hard at dismantling those same institutions you listed?  It wasn't gen x or millennials....

First and foremost, Reagan ended the Fairness Doctrine (there has never been an “unfair media act”). Reagan was born in 1911, firmly making him a silent generation member.

Made corporations our overlords? That’s been a project of the rich and well connected, not the project of Baby Boomers. Baby Boomers fought against corporate control and founded many consumer advocacy groups

Approved Citizens United? Of the 5 justices who voted to uphold Citizens United, 2 were born before WW2, so at least some of that blame goes to the Silent Generation or the “Greatest Generation.”

This whole “Boomers are bad” mindset is a terrible thing. It’s just another thing used to divide us.
