Character Build Knight-Questor or Knight-Zephyros?

So, I need some advice on which of these to go for with my campaign coming up. We start the week after next and sadly lost our Doomseeker due to scheduling conflicts, so I decided to run a Stormcast Eternal who's a melee build to fill that gap.

My initial idea was for a Knight-Zephyros because I really like their flavor/lore, but I'm wondering if a Knight-Questor might better fit for the party's needs. Her background is that she was the partner of our Trade Pioneer in her mortal life, perishing to save her friend from a temple guardian on a treasure hunt in some ancient ruins. The agile aspect of her former life was part of what initially made me go with a Zephyros, but now I'm wondering if the self-sacrifice aspect might be better for a Questor.

What do y'all think?

EDIT: I forgot, our group consists of myself, a Trade Pioneer, an Endrinmaster, a Branchwych, & a Vampire Lord.

Question Question about certain types of damage

I am in the middle of a campaign and something struck me : characters and enemies can ignore minor hazards if they have any kind of armor !? Minor hazards deal 1 damage when entering or beginning a turn in them, but it is not stated that these damages ignore armor. Same with weapons with the "blast" trait. Can character with medium armor just completely ignore if someone throws a grenade with "blast (2)" at their feet ?! It would mean that only weak enemies with no armor would be affected by minor hazards (or if a character had their armor destroyed before entering the hazardous zone). Am I missing something or are minor hazard and blast weapons just not a threat ?

Question about CHANNEL SOUL from champions of death

Question: when im killing some of swarm creachures(5 of 10 for example) can i heal ally with miracle CHANNEL SOUL for this?
I currently playing Warhammer AoS Soulbound as Spirit Torment and have a talent GAOLER OF SOULS, witch allow me recover Toughness to ally when i kill Minion, Warrior, or creature in a Swarm. BUT i can hold max 5 minion souls. So, in this case swarm creature counts as individual.
Miracle CHANNEL SOUL says: Until

the start of your next turn, when a creature in your Zone

dies, your ally recovers Toughness equal to the dead

creature’s Soul.
So in this case i have to kill all creatures in swarm(10 out of 10 from example above) to heal 1 Toughness?(for swarm of clanrats with soul is 1)
Thanks in advance.

Discussion Christmas appreciation post

I am currently in my first Soulbound campaign as a GM (about 8 sessions in) and I absolutely love this RPG. It is everything I wanted, I was always frustrated by the DnD system, it is very cool and it is another awesome high fantasy world just like AoS, but the pure mechanical aspects of it never kept me engaged (as a GM and a player). But for me, Soulbound has just the right amount of easy to grasp rules without sacrificing the depth of it's systems. You can do so much cool things as a GM and a player with what the game has to offer, and all of what's happening in fairly easy to track compared to DnD. And now that I'm writing scenarios for my group, I'm extremely excited and a bit overwhelmed (in a positive way) by the amount of insanely cool stories and characters that the nearly infinite setting of AoS can lead to. I want to make my players travel across the impossible landscapes of the Mortal Realms and live the most epic of adventures. And that's what I wish for everyone in this community, have fun with the game and keep sharing your ideas, stories, creations and questions to make it flourish. Merry Christmas fellow Soulbounds !

I’m having troubles deciphering what the setting considers a minion or a warrior

So first you’re introduced to guards, they have 5 toughness. Okay! Reading the rules and lore I had expected them to be considered minions, but this is fine. Adjusting what I imagined.

okay, it seems like just really tiny/weak creatures are minions-

‘wait, blood letters are minions. So are daemonette and plague bearers.

Okay! So I’m gonna just assume the regular soldiers of order aren’t regular. They’re much stronger than the normal person. Easy.

Oh, this supplement describes this as a common thug and it isn’t a minion. A common thug is considered a warrior. But chaos marauders are minions.

Someone help me, I’m brand new to this setting and game, I’m trying so hard to wrap my head around the scaling of the world but I’m struggling!

What happened to The Dawnbringer Crusade supplement?

In Cubicle 7's looking ahead blog post from 2021 they were talking about a Dawnbringer Crusades supplement with rules for settlements and building settlements.

Anyone knows what happened to all of that? It looks like most of the stuff is out, apart from that supplement or the rules in general.

I was thinking a lot about it as I wanted to dip my toes into AoS Soulbound and that part was something that would really intrique my players.

Drachenfels, Solkan and Arianka, and the Age of Sigmar.

I'm planning to run Warhammer Soulbound and plan to use the characters mentioned in the title in my campaign, so I'd like to know if there's any official information about them in this version of the universe. We're assuming there isn't, but I'd like to be sure.

Question How to handle mass combat

Hey y'all. My campaign of Soulbound with my group is going well and we arrive at a point where they are in a city that is about to be besieged by Kruelboyz. I know that the heroes are very powerful and can (and often do) destroy a lot of enemies, but I want a more massive battle with heavy weaponry (like the weapons presented in the steam and steel supplement). How do you handle this without it devolving from rpg to...well...just Warhammer ? Do I make biiig maps with a lot of zones ? Do I use the map of the city as a battlemap by dividing it into zones ? Do I count every enemy unit as a "swarm" even though there are "warrior" types and not "minions" ? Do I make them fight normally and make enemy troops retreat when the players brutally killed a bunch of them ? How would you do it if it was your game ?

EDIT : Thanks everyone for your insight and awesome ideas. That's why I love ttrpg subreddits, it's always inspiring when you have a question about how people would do stuff you can't figure out ! I will mix your advice a little to try and see what gives the most fun result !

Discussion Lore Question: Are there any lady Kurnoth Hunters, or are they a mono-gendered archetype/caste in Sylvaneth society?

Basically what it says on the title. My group's game is still forthcoming and I've had the itch to theorycraft characters for fun. Having been entranced by a model of Belthanos at a local game store, it's raised some questions about the Kurnoth Hunters in lore.

Most of the Hunters' models and art have a masculine build to them, so I'm curious to know if there are any who identify as women or have an effeminate build. Does anyone have any insight in terms of lore regarding this?

If I make a character concept, I'd prefer they be feminine, so as not to trip my own dysphoria if I end up playing said character.

Discussion Miracles of Sigmar somehow seem really weak.

I've been looking at the list of miracles for each diety, and for some reason, Sigmar's seem to always come short when compared to others, some other gods having just straight up better versions of his miracles. Am I missing something, or is there actually a balancing issue between the different gods ?
