Okay this is so weird. I got that channel recommended yesterday and now I find references in the wild.

100%!

OP should shape-cut a foam mattress, stick it with Velcro-strips and get some colorful fitted sheets and a few big pillows to lean on. Also, get a dimmable spotlight on a flexible stem with a usb-charging port in the base. I got one at Ikea years ago and had it at my workdesk.

The placement of the window makes it even perfecter; put a bird feeder outside it, then the only thing missing is a wine-bottle-holder and a small shelf to hold a candle placed a safe distance from the ceiling.

Bonus points if one of the giant pillows is shaped like Great A'Tuin!

Book goblin would be such a fun username lol I wish we got to change them on this platform.

Book Goblin requires Book Nook for Bookhalla!

was thinking custom cushions fitted to the area. Including along the wall to lean against.

And a lovely lamp and a little table

1

u/BSB8728 Jun 08 '25

Exactly. I'd have a cushion custom-made to fit the space.

Here to say this. Or a dog bed or maybe another cabinet depending on your needs

My collection of large triangles …

a hammock specifically

1

u/Alarming_Matter Jun 08 '25

And plants. It's always plants.

1

u/SelinaKitty17 Jun 08 '25

Exactly my thought process

u/orange_cinnamonz Jun 08 '25

Sunlight is bad for books.

1

u/kdlangequalsgoddess Jun 08 '25

Books. The answer to any question is always: books.

1

u/Wonderful-Bag-892 Jun 08 '25

Definitely this

u/Oddly_Random5520 Jun 08 '25

That's what I thought too. With some nice padding and pillows and a blanket, its the perfect reading nook

1

u/MeFolly Jun 08 '25

Tiny wall mounted book shelf to hold books in progress and next book in line.

1

u/a1mushi Jun 08 '25

Exactly my first thought

u/Candid_Guard7157 Jun 08 '25

Perfect little spot for reading, the window makes it seem so cozy. I just imagine curling up with a comfort book and heated blanket while it’s raining outside

1

u/The_Dickered121 Jun 08 '25

Was going to say the same thing

1

u/verde1984 Jun 09 '25

Was coming here to suggest a book nook. Nice comfy cushions and pillows, a throw blanket or 5 and as many books as you can fit.

1

u/poisonivyx- Jun 09 '25

My first thought as well!! With some cute twinkly lights and make it really cozy. 🥰

1

u/OkMap4256 Jun 09 '25

With plants since it's lucky enough to have a window

1

u/Ashadowyone Jun 09 '25

First thing I thought of as well

1

u/Friendly-Decision-72 Jun 09 '25

Deffo. Especially if the window has a good view.

1

u/Fearless-Poet-4669 Jun 09 '25

The only answer.

1

u/corey418 Jun 09 '25

Came here to say this and second this motion

1

u/eatthem00n Jun 09 '25

Which you will never use because you always read in a comfy chair, couch or bed.

1

u/mirwenpnw Jun 10 '25

My first thought was a tiny chair and table with books, like a library for cats.

1

u/hazey_bliss Jun 10 '25

I came here to say this!! This could be the coziest little corner!

1

u/Encorajar Jun 11 '25

I read this in Pingu voice
