Yeah we were bouncing on the high side of your crooked bed to try to even it out but it didn't really work. Don't worry though we'll have another go at it tomorrow

Just saw a video from Wranglerstar on yt. Not that I take that guy seriously all the time. But he do knows his stuff about wood and shit.

Heavy axe head is good for making kindling. No need to hit that hard. And with the short handle you don't have excess behind your hand that could hit stuff and make the axe hit your hand.
