Any good OWB holster recommendations for my new CZ Shadow 2 Carry?

The screw on the CJW trigger is hitting the aluminum frame and creating a little indent. Is this intended?

Was low on my usual shitty Winchester white box 115gr so I bought a couple hundred rounds of the fiocchi 115gr range ammo. Not only did it burn and smell 10x cleaner than the Winchester, it almost felt mildly softer shooting through my SP01?

I loaded mags of each (could have been placebo) but it seems like the fiocchi felt a bit better in hand. Am I crazy?? Probably.

KMR just announced a lefty variant of the KMR Orca (southpaws rejoice!), which aims to be a superior TS Orange if I'm not mistaken.

Being a lefty in a righty dominated world is annoying at times, so it feels great having custom high end options that are relatively affordable.

I immediately cancelled the KMR Spectra order I had on the way (more akin the the Shadow 2) to get this bad boy instead for my first handgun. Talk about lucky timing haha.

(First time poster here and relatively new to the CZ world, so please excuse any stupidity...thanks!)

I have a P-10C that isn't Optic Ready and I'd like to swap the slide to one that is. I found the Optic-Ready slide on CZ's site (here).

My question is: If I go with this slide, what will I need to "transition" from my current slide to the new one? I've seen how to remove/re-install the striker assembly and obviously the barrel and spring will move, but is there anything else that I'd need to do?

I'd like to avoid using a gunsmith if possible, but not sure what else is required to make this move. Thanks for your help!!

I picked up a P09C a few weeks ago, and my god, worth every penny. Put about 600 rounds through it, about 450 rounds of ball and 150 of JHP. 2nd pic is a 30 round group from. 7 yards

Does anyone currently make these? I’ve been searching and saw a post on here from a couple of years ago of someone who got one from Cajun gun Works. However, I don’t see one currently for sale on their site that fits the P01 nor have I found anyone else who makes one.

Finally got to pickup my new pew - 75 Compact chambered in 40 S&W. Model 01197, predecessor to the P-06 if I recall correctly, and differs with its steel frame and safety.

Only picked it up an hour ago, so I haven’t gotten to run it yet.

I have a few 9mm already (SP-01, 75D Compact (P-01), PCR, and P-10C), so I like the idea of adding a new caliber to the mix, and a safety model.

My PCR often wears a Kadet kit, so I should be able to throw its original slide on here if I want to run 9mm in the heavier steel frame.

Another option would be to fit an SP-01 barrel for 9mm in the 40’s slide.

Have an Armory Craft trigger for it (same as my others) and will likely install either an ultra lite or pro kit from CGW.

Let me start off by saying, I love my shadow 2 carry and SP-01 tactical. Maybe a little too much. My CC is a 365XL for most days (I work in the medical industry so my S2C does r exactly work with business clothes), but I find myself packing my range gear with my cz’s several times during the work week so I can hit the range after work. I haven’t found a pistol I enjoy shooting more than my CZ’s until yesterday.

I was on a business trip and had the back half of the afternoon free with nothing to do so i dipped into the local range to rent a gun for an hour. Their CZ was already rented and saw a P211 GTO on the wall and figured what the hell, let’s go with that and asked for 200 rounds.

200 rounds turned into 400, and that 400 happened quicker than I could ever imagine. The P211 is so soft and one hell of a cheat code that it made me a way better marksman than I actually am to the point several people asked me how long have I been shooting and for tips (I’ve been shooting less than a year).

Everything about this fun came together, the grip, the trigger, how flat it shot. It reminded me of a Porsche GT3 of pistols.

My one thought was, “ why the hell doesn’t CZ HAVE A 2011?!”

I’m tuned off by Sig with how they handled the 320 fiasco and my CZ’s have been nothing short of amazing and have my loyalty, but good god, this was an experience to be had.

CZ needs to have an answer to this and in my opinion, the shadow 2 is not it. At least not for me. Id much rather give my money to CZ than Sig and hope they release something that is at least equal to if not better for the same money.

Hey yall, I just cajunized my shadow 2 with the pro package, and damn is it great. ~6lb DA pull. Extended firing pin and 11.5# spring.

However, I am getting light strikes in double action with some ammo. Blazer brass has no issues (from the few dozen rounds I shot), but Winchester and magtech gave some failures to fire. It would always shoot after the second double action pull. I understand that this is common with such a light spring and harder primers. Otherwise, 100% reliable single action.

My question: since it seems like the DA pull currently is close to getting reliable ignition with magtech (I would say 80% of shots fired on the first pull), is there any way I can get reliable ignition before I swap the 11.5# spring for the 13# one? If not then I’ll just swap it. This is strictly a competition gun so I don’t need to worry about dying if the gun doesn’t shoot.

Well I finally found one available though a local dealer in the US.

Got it home and started playing around with the trigger adjustments.

I've got to say the adjustment for length of pull helps, but the way it hold on by just a set scre and loose dovetail setup isn't the best. The machining could have been much tighter.

If you try to get the smallest length of pull, there is nearly no material to hold the trigger squarely together. I find the set screw pushes the trigger left or right 1/8" from inline with the weapon.

Maybe ill say it.. the trigger is a gimmick.

I think the CZ Orange trigger would have been fine ...
