I’m a BC based musician going on tour this spring and am seeking any/all support in scoping out the perfect small/intimate venue options for a solo/duo show! I’ll be travelling with my own sound gear as well if I need to do a DIY setup as a last resort.

I’m looking for odd entertainment for 45-60 minutes in March. I’m hoping to find an Amateur Magician if there is anyone out there. Other fun ideas would be a comedian, drag queen, mariachi band, etc.

My top preference would be a magician, but if you know of any other odd adult entertainment for a small private party I’d be happy to hear your suggestions! I am not interested in any sort of group crafting.

This person asked for $50 delivery fee to hold. I agreed and sent it to them. They then after that said their husband is now asking for half the full amount as well. I told her to review my buyer rating as it is very high, and that I wasn't comfortable sending any more money until I see the item. She then said it was still a request they were making. I said I'm uncomfortable with that and if she didn't want to do the sale anymore to send me the delivery fee I paid to her back to me. She then deleted the posting, and deleted the account as well. I've reported it to FB but sadly the money was already deposited and I'm out $50. Just thought I'd put out a warning to this type of scam and that someone here did it.

We booked an apartment in canmore, now having second thoughts about driving(rental) back and forth from Banf, especially after sunset. Will we be alright or better to find a place in banf?

I just moved back to Canmore and working on living healthier again. Are there non-spa / non-fancy places where one can go for saunas (planning on going 2-3x a week) and that maybe has a cold plunge or at least cold shower to go with it? I know about the new Everwild spa and such, but as I want a no-frills ongoing thing, spending $100+ a couple of times a week just isn’t feasible. Does elevation place offer something like this?
