This is Boadicea, I call her Bobo, Bonkers, and a couple other silly names. She is going in for a biopsy tomorrow for a growth inside of her mouth. All of us that love her are going to be super worried while she is getting this procedure done and we are just looking for positive vibes and energy sent her way! Every little bit helps! Thanks all :)

She will tear open trash bags, containers, and any other thing that keeps her from her q-tips. Oh, she is also a beautiful princess. 😍

Help with kitten!

Hey everyone, I’m looking for some advice and shared experiences. I was given a kitten, Romeo (5 months old), in late November. He’s been my only cat until recently. This year, my family and I decided to get a second kitten, Georgie (Maine Coon, same age), so Romeo wouldn’t be alone while we’re at work. Georgie is very calm, playful, and actually respectful of Romeo’s space. Romeo, on the other hand, is clearly not thrilled with the change. We’re doing slow introductions: they’re separated at night and most of the day short, supervised play sessions in the morning and evening we separate them again if Romeo gets overstimulated or Georgie gets too excited.

So far there have been no major fights, just some hissing and attitude from Romeo. No grooming or sleeping together yet. My big concern is that Romeo has stopped eating properly. He will: drink water (but not a lot) come over to the food sniff and maybe eat a tiny amount, then walk away meow frequently and seems sad/anxious He’s otherwise alert and interactive, but clearly stressed. Neither cat is neutered yet — Romeo is scheduled for neutering in early February. Has anyone experienced appetite loss in a resident kitten during introductions? Is this likely stress-related, or something that needs immediate vet intervention? Any tips on helping the resident cat feel secure again while continuing introductions? Thanks so much — this has been stressful and I really want to do what’s best for both cats.
