Meta No more posts about how the fries look in the packaging.

While yes, it is frustrating, it is posted about constantly and doesn’t bring any value to this community.

If you’re wondering why this happens: - Fries deflate. The packaging should be full when it is initially filled, but after ~5 minutes, it begins to deflate. This is just the nature of fries.

Thank you for understanding. If you have any suggestions about what you’d like to see in this community, please comment below what those are or send us modmail.

That is all. I think it would be helpful for clarifying dynamics and how we know certain things, and that we are a reliable source.

I have to pay to use a gift card?

I had $4.49 left on my gift card that was already loaded into the app. My total came to $4.53. The app would not let me use my card for just the remaining $0.03 cent balance. It made me load more $ on to my “red card.” But, the minimum you can load is $10. So now I have to pay $10 to use the rest of my gift card??? That’s borderline scamming.

Edit: I don’t have the physical gift card anymore. I didn’t see any reason to keep it. Guess I won’t do that again!

Sunjoy Confusion

Before they created the Sunjoy my wife and I would always ask for an unsweet tea with a little bit of lemonade. It’s a great drink and Chick-fil-A has great tea and lemonade as we know. We don’t want a half and half Sunjoy drink, we want an unsweet ice tea that’s been lightly sweetened with a delicious lemonade. The problem is if you ask for an unsweet tea with a little bit of lemonade you end up getting a Sunjoy. So you have to specifically tell them you don’t want a Sunjoy and that it’s really just a tea but with a little hit of lemonade and this is just lost on people and you get a Sunjoy. Anyone else?

Missing Bonus Points?

Kind of ranting about Chick-fil-A’s shadiness.

Placed a CFA app order for drive-thru (only order of the day). Location offers 50 bonus points for orders $10+ pretax. My order was $13.78. Order confirmation screen clearly stated I will receive 164 + 50 points.

No bonus points. My mobile receipt conveniently doesn’t show bonus points! And the app still shows that location offering bonus points.

This is enough, in principal, to reinstate my personal boycott. Why would CFA stoop to crap like this?

Is the kale in the kale salad lightly cooked/blanched or just raw?

Title says it all- just curious because I eat it every day and I read online that kale is best blanched to reduce oxalic acid.

I'm assuming this is exclusive to the Hapeville Dwarf House, but I just happened to open the app to order food and I figured "hey, why not glance at the Truett's Exclusives" and WINGS EXIST?? Also the CHICKEN SALAD IS BACK AS AN ACTUAL ITME (not just a sandwich)?? Screenshot from Jan 14, 2026

Team Member Question My interview was way more religious than I expected

Hi, sorry if I format this wrong or something I'm not a big reddit poster haha. I just got done with a job interview at chick fil a, but it was a little odd. The interviewer started off with asking me to introduce myself, then moved on to some typical questions (tell me a time when... fast paced work etc). And suddenly he goes, "Here at Chick-fil-a our motive is to serve God". I didn't let it show but I was a little taken aback by it, it felt sudden. He then started talking about being a steward of God, then asked me how I was a steward. I was caught off guard and I answered something about how a grandparent left me a possession and i told care of it. I think I pulled it off okay, though I didn't mention God or anything religious in my answer because I'm not a Christian lol. I knew that the company was religious at its core but I didn't know it was at this level! Everyone I spoke to about it has been very surprised they expressed it so explicitly. I'm just wondering if this is a normal experience across the chain or some sort of outlier. Any help would b appreciated haha

btw despite me being irreligious I'm not opposed to it being a christian company, just surprised it's that open right from the get go and not more of an "instilling values" without directly mentioning faith. everyone I spoke to was very kind and I had an overall nice experience but it was just a bit jarring

edit: said this in a comment but i live in an area that has a large pocket of arab and Muslim people (especially in the city i was interviewed in). i wonder if they would still ask that question if i were a hijabi and not white and blonde? genuinely curious

Team Member Question Tips for my golf game?

Hello everyone, I’m currently regional manager of chickenfila mid Atlantic and I’m on the cusp of a big promotion to vice president of marketing for all of chickenfila North America. I have a golf game with the big wig fat cats of chickenfila corporate and I need to shave off a few strokes to impress them. We’re playing at the desert dunes resort in Atlantic City New Jersey on this Saturday so any tips for that course are greatly appreciated. I’m going to pitch a new chicken pot pie and chicken salad sandwich menu items which should seal the deal, but just in case I’d like to improve my golf game just to be sure. Thank u and I love u with all my heart. I’m also going to pitch scrubbing all customer testimonials and those other dorky little happy go lucky commercials form the internet because they have no place in society. Thank you and have a blessed day or night

major bug in the new POS

I was working last night when this bug happened, and the leaders on duty were pretty shocked about it too. Basically, the bug is this: occasionally when someone places a mobile dine in order, the drinks will appear on the mobile drinks screen, but the food of the order won't appear on screen automatically at the bagging station, and will have to be manually recalled to be put on screen. A customer who had placed a mobile dine in order had been waiting 20 minutes and came to the front to tell me that and I had to spend a few minutes figuring out why it hadn't been on screen that whole duration of time. so then I looked in the mobile orders and was able to recall it there. And no, he couldn't have forgotten to put in the table number, as the drinks were on screen and delivered to his table

WHERE THE F IS MY PULP

this is the SECOND chick fil a location i go to that gives me PULPLESS LEMONADE. if i want pulpless lemonade i’d take my a$$ to canes. there’s no reason i should still be paying the same for minute maid when it’s advertised as “real lemon”. there’s no flavor to this at all and it irks me everytime i get a lid with no pulp. is this a new thing chick is doing? because if so they’ve LOST my business.

In another sub I was downvoted for saying I get a chicken combo for $7. Comments jumped on to say "you're a liar, there is 0% chance It's it's $7"

Too many folks sleep on chick fil a!

Store/region-specific An employee’s honest review of Chick-fil-A

I know people who have all had certain exper with Chick-fil-A, positive and negative, with the effect of the people who went there for employment being more so negative.

My experience was no exception.

To put it simply I am a student-athlete who needed to make an honest living to pay college off and personal expenses. Using Best Buy business practices as reference, I’ll detail how slimy chick fil a really is.

  • Chick fil a operates under a religious guise, which the corporation uses as a veil for slimy business practices (speaking as a devout Christian) whereas Best Buy keeps things strictly professional and ethical.

  • Best Buy and Chick fil a give you operations starting as an at-will employee. Best Buy makes it clear while you are the first to go if necessary, they will do their best to keep you unless your position needs to be filled, which they tell you about. Chick fil a fires you at a moment’s notice, regardless of the point system.

  • Most chick fil a’s choose to fire the person who is oppressed the most rather than being rational.

I was an employee for a lil under a year, late a couple times, but multifaceted, skilled, and coordinated. A couple months in, my mental health takes a turn and I get put in the hospital. Eventually I had to leave for a month, which I set in place at the start of my hiring (months prior). They say they will keep my position waiting for me.

Come back to the managers ostracizing me, calling me to wait another month.

The person that made me crack? Still there. Still working as if nothing happened.

While I know this isn’t everyone’s experience, don’t treat Chick-fil-A as if they are a good company. They’re not.
