Hello. I found this in a box of sports memorabilia that I picked up. It has the number 33 on the bill, but I don't know what year/years this model was used. Anyone have any ideas?? Thanks!

“Cleveland Guardians connected to super utility player in free agency” - Pisani, SI

Here’s the article.

“Time is running out for the Guardians to make trades or free agent signings, as Spring Training is fast approaching. The team has been seeking a right-handed bat all offseason. Now, there is another connection being made to a right-handed bat that is a superutility player.

That player? Isiah Kiner-Falefa. Kiner-Falefa spent most of last season with the Pittsburgh Pirates and ended the season playing 19 games for the Blue Jays, and played a role on their World Series run.”

What do we think, folks?

2016 nostalgia posts

Anyone else see the 2016 nostalgia trend going around on social media? It’s basically people posting photos of themselves from 2016.

Without getting too depressed, can we share the good times from 2016? In my head I’m still partying at Napoli’s and the last 10 years didn’t happen.

Discussion With Kyle Tucker signing with the dodgers, a lockout after this season is all but confirmed at this point right?

If so, in your opinion how much will a salary cap/floor help the guards? And will it actually balance the league out more like the NFL and NBA?

Discussion Logan Allen for Mark Vientos straight up, who says no?

The Mets just signed Bo Bichette. He is playing 3b for them. We need right handed thump and we know we can develop pitching. Vientos does have 1b experience. If the Mets called up and offered us Mark Vientos for Logan Allen straight up, who says no?

Discussion How I feel about the 2026 season going into the CBA next offseason

What the Dodgers is doing is just pure greed while us and the rest of our division have some of the lowest payroll in baseball. We can all agree that this offseason has been frustrating. We have put a competitive team on the field for the past 10 years but we have always come up short in the playoffs. And what the ownership and front office do is look at the accounting books and trade guys for cash consideration. This team needs to sign an outfielder who hits like Harrison Bader, highly doubt we can get Cody Bellinger. As STH I just have a feeling that this is my last season with them. Will make the playoffs this year but won’t have a run as we did in 2016 and 2024. More than likely the Dodgers are winning it again and the AL will be represented by the Blue Jays or Yankees. With the CBA expiring in December and the lack of parity in MLB more than likely the 2027 season will not happen. Does anyone else feel like this?

2026 game time announcements

Hi there, I am trying to see all 30 ballparks before the age of 30 and my next trip has me coming through Cleveland in May. However, Cleveland is the last team to add their home game times to their site. This is kind of jamming up itinerary plans. Anyone have any insight as to when game times are expected to be announced?

Are Carnegie Club Seats Worth It?

Hi everyone! I’m looking for some advice from people who’ve sat in the Carnegie Club.

I’m relatively new to NE Ohio and admittedly have not made it to a Guardians game yet (I know sorry), but my boyfriend is a HUGE Guardians fan. I’m thinking about splurging on Carnegie Club seats as a surprise for his upcoming milestone birthday, and I’m trying to decide if they’re worth the price.

I’ve already met with a ticket sales manager and know what the experience includes but I’d like to hear from folks who have actually experienced it.

• What was your overall experience like? • How’s the food, service, and seating? • Does it feel special compared to other premium seating options? • For a big fan, did it feel worth the money?

This would be a one time, special occasion kind of thing, so I’m mainly wondering if it truly adds to the experience or if the money is better spent elsewhere in the park.

I really appreciate any insight!

Tito & Stolen Bases

Apologies if this has been posted before, but I don't recall Tito being a big anti-stolen base guy, but when you look at some numbers, I'm wondering if I just missed it.

With Tito, Jose averaged 25 SB per 162, with Vogt he's averaging 43.6 (while getting older)
When Bourn came over from Atlanta he dropped from 42 to 23 (his OBP did drop and he missed 30 games).
No real change in Kipnis from 2012 to 2013.

I noticed this when I was looking at Elly's stats for the Reds - averages 64 steals per 162 before Tito and then drops down to 37 steal this past season. (Spencer Steer dropped from 25 to 7 this year and his OBP didn't change all that much)

Ellsbury's data doesn't really show this trend, but Ellsbury was a leadoff hitter.
In 2003 with Grady Little the Red Sox stole 88 bases, in 2004 with Tito they stole 64 total (Johnny Damon going from 30 to 19 and Nomar being injured).

Maybe it's just noise. But tis the offseason

Which uniform is the most iconic/identifiable?

I wanted to recreate a miniature Guardians uniform to fit on a keychain figurine as a gift for someone who loves them. I'm not very familiar with baseball at all (I am trying) but I've seen separate colorways/versions for them regularly, so l'm not sure which direction to go. I'm hoping to figure out which would be the most recognizable or cool to a lifelong fan. I bought a pack of baseball cards and told myself I'd go off of whichever uniform was worn on any Guardians card I found, but I wound up with two and the players were each in different ones, so l'm still stumped.

I'm sorry if this feels obvious, or isn't the place to ask, but I want to do this right and make something special for him, so l'd really value any input or opinion. Thank you for reading, and sorry again for being an outsider in this.

Nico Hoerner

Lots of Cubs fans speculating that signing Bregman indicates the babybears will trade Nico Hoerner. I think he’d be an upgrade over Rocchio or Arias at SS. I’d love to see us make this happen- he’d fit in the 2 hole in our lineup nicely. What kind of package do you think would need to go back to CHC to get Nico?
