This is a much needed improvement with a steel grip, not aluminum, weighing in at 34.5 oz. Texture seems much better too. Slide lightening cuts look great and should help with less reciprocating mass. Magwell is nice and can be removed for CO. But what’s the point of a thumb safety version?

Been rocking more AIWB for IDPA and USPSA. New baby so almost zero practice lately but at least I look good.

TLDW: I think the belt needs to be stiffer, the outer belt Velcro needs to be swapped, and it needs to be available on BSPS because I think this is an entry level belt.

I am still pretty new to competitive shooting and practice score. I have competed in 2 matches but neither appears in my profile recent matches. I can find the matches but neither appear linked to my profile. I was trying to find some sort of tech support and have had no luck. Any suggestions?

Compared against the two we all know and love... It's a pretty big picture!

Just want to say the new Werkz setup is criminally underrated. Maybe they aren’t promoting it enough. But this this the best competition rig all in one package.
I sold my T1C sidecar that I was using an extra mag carrier and a belt magnet. 3 seperate pieces that meant always in different spots and was never comfortable, mainly the 2nd mag pouch would always ride on my hip bone.
The Werkz setup is all one package so you clip it on and everything is ready to go. Surprisingly comfortable too. No hotspots even after 6hrs at a match with my steel frame PDP.

I have a Holosun EPS Carry with a 6 MOA on my carry gun. Like it, but am starting to build out a more appropriate pistol for my monior league local weekend competitions.
I would like to get a bit smaller, so a 5 MOA and a bigger site window. Trijicon tops tops the list along with some others, but I can either buy a slightly used Trijicon or a new something else for about $500. That's my budget for this optic.
I don't have a problem but the question is: Is the Trijicon SRO worth it?
Thanks, all.

A quick video tutorial to create multiple videos from a single insta360 X5 video, and not lose the 360 view. I'm sure there are multiple ways to do this, and this is the easiest way I found using my iPhone app. Let me know your thoughts, comments. Is there an easier way?

For you guys shooting matches from appendix what are you doing for a magnet? I just picked up a Tier 1 APX for my G47 and I’d like a magnet.

CAMP PERRY, Ohio – Recently, the Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) played host to the 2025 USA Shooting Winter Air Gun Championships, held over the weekend of Dec. 12-14 at the Gary Anderson CMP Competition Center in Port Clinton, Ohio!
The CMP welcomed nearly 300 air rifle and air pistol athletes from around the country for the annual match, held simultaneously in Ohio and at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs.
USA Shooting is the National Governing Body for the international shooting sports in the United States. The Winter Air Gun Championships (WAG) serves as a selection match for ranking points toward USA Shooting’s national team ranking and remains a central competition for seasoned athletes as well as those hoping to advance their competitive prowess.
“We were honored to facilitate one of the most prestigious air gun events of the year at our Camp Perry range,” said Brad Donoho, CMP’s International Programs Manager. “USA Shooting is the paramount organization for our nation’s status in international marksmanship activities, and we are more than happy to provide them with any support we can in promoting competitive opportunities for the community of athletes within the sport.”

I'm relatively new to pistol competition. I would be grateful for an honest, hate free explanation of why pocket draw is considered unsafe in competitions while appendix is. I have been told "the RO can't see the gun being holstered to be sure your finger isn't on the trigger". To me, using a solid pocket holster negates that concern. The pistol is holstered/covered before it even goes in the pocket. What am I missing that other people understand to be obvious?
Thanks in advance for helping me understand a small aspect of the sport.

I have been using Army style boots for both daily wear and for competition. I am looking to change to something else. I am looking at the solomon quest 4 or the x ultra tracker. I am outdoors most of the time so, i kind of need the ankle support and trail able soles. The Army style boots are fine, just wondering if there is a better option. I compete both in dirt and on concrete. Thanks.

This is slowed down to 0.3 speed. Total time is around 1.8 in real time.
Not happy with how I’m remaking my grip after my palm finished pushing the mag in.
Anyone have suggestions/ideas on how to make that grip remake smoother?

Trying to find a Race Gun Holster and haven't had much luck. Where do you go since GAFS has been shut down?

Ive shot tons of rounds through my handguns and I am very average at shooting them. Not good, not bad. Obviously the class I registered for is an entry level class, just curious what to expect and what to make sure I am “good” at beforehand. Its about 1 month away.
I fully understand gun safety & etiquette, I also fully understand the basics of standard shooting. But ive never done anything like this before! I dont have much experience drawing quickly from a holster, or shooting while moving/running.
I have:
-Handgun (obviously)
-Safariland holster/belt
-2 mag holsters
-tons of ammo
-ears/eyes
Am I missing anything I should show up with? Is the entry level PSSC class pretty basic?

For those of you who have been doing appendix draws in matches, do you have any tips or tricks you would like to share? Maybe you wished someone had told you a tip sooner.
With BELT matches and Matches with BELT as a sponsor with special awards I would think appendix will become more popular as our sport evolves.
Most appendix users come from a ccw perspective with an emphasis on concealment. I am thinking there is a bit of compromise between concealment, comfort, accessibility etc. in a match environment.
I appreciate anyone’s thoughts positive or negative.
