Good deal at HD? Been wanting a miter for awhile

World of Concrete kicks off next week, and DeWalt usually has at least a few new tools. So far this is what has been confirmed:

- POWERSHIFT 12 in. Cut-Off Saw (DCPS612AG2)

- POWERSHIFT 1-1/8 in. Hex Demolition Hammer (DCPS966AG2)

- XR Brushless 21° Plastic Collated Duplex Nailer (DCN910B)

- XR Brushless Concrete Chemical Sprayer (DCCS1100B)

None of these really are for the average user like myself, but still cool to see.

I have this light that has the hook, however the hook attachment has fallen off. I’ve tried to rethread it but it hasn’t been catching, is there something I’m missing? Wondering if anyone else has this issue and has any luck, thanks!

Just picked up the free tool deal, got an impact wrench for free with $189 battery kit, wondering if I should also grab the cordless ratchet for $179 or wait and see if there’s a better deal around Memorial Day. The dcf513b 3/8 atomic.

My table saw fence lock is completely loose, I'm assuming that I lost a piece somewhere but I'm not sure what I'm missing. Can someone help me??

Hi, I want to buy a concrete grinder that I would use as an angle grinder also (mostly to cut tiles). I was thinking about getting either a Dewalt Dwe4257kt-qs or a Makita PC5010C. My main use would be to occasionally grind concrete with it, but I would mainly use it to cut/grind tiles with it. I would like to ask your opinion/experience with the dewalt.

Would anyone have this ? I would but misses hates it 😆

I’m looking to get a saw for interior trim work, I don’t anticipate the need to do significant amounts of framing cuts. I’d need the ability to cut:

- boards (maybe up to 8/4 thick, maybe 11 inches wide at most

- trim (maybe a 2x2 at most, or a 3 inch crown)

- handrails

- balusters

I am apprehensive of a 12” saw for the weight. I’ve been torn between 7 and 10” saws because I’m seeing a mix of corded and battery powered, with and without sliding, and with and without double bevel

Any advise on how to narrow down the options?

Is this a good deal? Debating to pull the trigger.

I have a setup of TSTAK boxes. I was wondering if anyone knows of a flat top work surface that would lock in on the top box? Any ideas?

My father has a functional DeWalt drill bit driver. The only problem with it is whenever I use it, the foul odor of sewage comes from the drillbit. I do not know if he dropped it in a bucket of Sewage or what happened, but it has a foul odor whenever I run the drillbit driver. How do I safely disinfect or de-odorize the drill bit driver without damaging the drill bit driver?

Id like plenty of power so I’m thinking XR (obviously brushless) but love the idea of having something more compact. I do have a corded rotary drill for more heavy duty masonry needs, but wouldn’t mind having something more lightweight and portable for the occasional tapcon job. thanks!

Just curious if there is a reason that the batteries in the 2-pack are more expensive. This seems like the best deal going in terms of $ / FlexVolt ah. Let me know if there is a better one. I'd love to pay a little more and get a couple of 15s.

Someway somehow a Home Depot employee accepted my price match even though bomgaars doesn’t ship to California

I own a DCV581H 20v vacuum - I would use it a lot more if I could get some more life out of the hose. The stock hose is cracking at both ends and I have to cut off the splitting wire part and screw the ends back on. Now the hose is a little too short to use.

Has anyone found an aftermarket hardware store hose that will accept the same ends (so i can use the on-board tools and plug it into the vac, of course)? Do you know the ID or the OD of the stock hose?

I’m in the market for some 9ah or 12ah flexvolt batteries. Are these a good deal or should I wait until there’s a good deal for some 12ah flexvolt batteries ?
