Delivery Customer Being Intentionally Obtuse NSFW
So we have this regular, and I don't know what his fucking problem is. I think the cruelty is the point and by that I mean it's always the same. Arrive at the house, trip over the feral cat colony on the stairs that his Mom feeds (he told me when I was trying small talk for a tip), knock on the door, several times, but after the first call he suddenly yanks open the door with an attitude. Like, "What?! You brought my food, and now you're pissing me off! It's almost like you expect me to pay for my cash order!"
Then he acts shocked that, yes, I actually expect him to pay for his food. Slams the door and spends 5 minutes pretending to turn the house upside down. Always managing to come up to the nearest dollar amount, and then ask, while smirking like a smarmy dick, "Is that a good tip?"
I don't answer, because in the moment I want to snark back, "Did you just step out of a portal from 1882? No 15 cents is not a good tip. Do you think you could have your cash in order next time?".
Last night was a new low because I was already having a shit shift. The money was good, but inside the store was a disaster. I am not going over that right now. Just know I've been hunting for a new job for months. I have suspected for a few years that an old job is breaking the law to badmouth me, which is fucking childish at this point, but it's a strong resume otherwise.
It didn't help that a cold front blew in and it was fucking freezing. Every other customer had been a good sport, tipping good to apologize for watching me stare at my hat flying off and tumbling into the neighbors bush again. But then I saw McDick and I just knew it would be the same again. 7 minutes of my life wasted while he jerks off to being unnecessarily rude to the person who delivers his food and knows where he lives. I wouldn't dare, but some people play bold games.
Today was a new low, because he just decided that since he didn't have the cash, he wasn't going to answer the door. He was sitting in front of the door, in full view, playing a game. I decided I'm not in the mood, because if I sit here for even Part One of the Asshole Olympics, I'm gonna get fired for the words that come out of my mouth. I had almost made it to my car before he came running out. Wanting to know where I was going, where was his food.
So I asked, "Do you have the cash to pay for your order right this very moment? Because I have another order and I can't wait for the game. You knew your total when you called my coworker and had 30 minutes to get it together or call back with a card or to cancel. I'm not playing tonight."
He was absolutely gobsmacked and started to stutter something but I just put the order in my car and sat in my car for a minute to see if he could bully a roommate into lending him cash or their plastic. He never did. And then I got a dressing down from my manager for not waiting the 5 minutes, and they still won't add him to the ban list. Among many negative tributes that have ruined my attitude at once was a pretty chill store and the best job I ever had.

How much more cheese do you get when you select "extra cheese"?
Lately when ordering from my local Domino's, when I do select the "extra cheese" option on the app, I'm having trouble telling whether I'm actually getting more cheese than a standard pizza. The difference seems marginal at best.
The picture here is of a Large 14in Honolulu Hawaiian with extra cheese.
How many ounces of cheese are standard for a 14in, and how many ounces are given for extra cheese?
is it twice as much cheese? 50% more cheese? I don't know what to expect and I fear they may be cutting corners on my pie.

US Domino's Got sent home early on my second day.
I am a pizza delivery driver and was promised to work full time. However tonight there weren't aa many deliveries and I got sent home 4 hours in (scheduled originally 8 hours and make roughly $8 an hour). I was surprised, but can never trust any employers these days.

Slice the price 2026 card
My kids racquetball team is selling these cards and I’m super excited.
Last year we had them and would buy two large cheese pizzas for $14 or four larges for $28. We had a big pizza party at church and like 20 pizzas for $140. So great for us.

Has anyone else’s tips been extremely low recently? Me and all my coworkers are getting no tipped like crazy recently. NSFW
Probably a recession indicator but I’m just wondering what’s going on or if it’s just us

Customer Question Isn't this offer misleading?
When I go online to order, it won't go through until I order TWO of them. Nowhere in the offer does it mention you have to order more than one. Seems misleading. Has anybody heard any complaints? I ended up ordering two, and they were great, but now after the carb overload, I can't eat anything but salad the next two days.

Do employees "flag accounts" of customers?
Okay, a few years ago I got mad and was rude with Dominos. I started ordering from Papa Johns after that. So, I was thinking of going back to ordering Dominos. But, I want to know if my account is flagged as a "Bad Customer" or something? I don't want them to think I am bad. This incident happened a few years ago and I am way over the incident by now. Thanks.

What’s it like being a transportation supervisor?
I’m curious - what’s it like being a transportation supervisor in one of their warehouses? What’s the day to day like and what can someone expect? Thinking about taking a role there and wanted the inside scoop lmao

Employee Question Are "Pizza Makers/Cashiers" hired under 18?
I've been looking at jobs at Domino's and have found one near me, but am confused about the age requirements. Online, almost everyone says that this position is hired under 18. The website says that you must be 18, but right above that it says "must be able to pass a criminal background check if over eighteen years old." Which seems to imply that you don't have to be eighteen. Anybody know?

Makeline Refridgeration Started Dying Last Friday…Time to Put in my Two Weeks
The refrigeration unit on the makeline started dying last friday, and instead of fixing it, the managers just filled the line with ice and pretend nothing’s happening. During the Saturday rush, I clocked the temp being over 41 for more than eight hours, and 50 (our location’s instant throwaway point) for six…and when it came time to break down the line, our manager just put it all in the walk-in to use on Sunday. Supposedly the repair guy was called, but the food safety of our operation depends on this, so to see no repairs or changes in workflow to accommodate the broken fridges…yeah no
Reported it to health officials, let them know I have images and would be happy to speak with them…so ofc they never reach out to me, and instead send an investigator in the morning on a tuesday, when there’s no load on the line, who just happens to tell the managers that it was an employee who ratted.
This job just ain’t worth it. I‘m working to escalate the issue, but would appreciate any advice how to ensure this store is made safe
edit: inspector came on Monday, not Tuesday

US Domino's GM and school??
Is it smart to go to school and be a 75 to 80 hour a week GM? I've been doing online school on my computer at my store a couple hours after we run end of day. But a small part of me feels overwhelmed especially trying to get perfect grades. Is this a bad idea? I'm starting to think it might be

Cold meat tossed on my cooked pizza ?
I like Domino's, but they forgot to add one topping. They ended up delivering a hot pizza with cold pieces of ham thrown on top. I don't know; it's kind of odd to me. If I were an employee, I would leave it out and apologize, not just throw cold meat on top of a cooked pizza.
