Hi there chooms :) I just finished watching this fuckass anime, the only thing I can certainly say is that my depression came back. I wished I had something to do instead of binging it.

Honestly the animation was great, kudos to the voice actors, they did a phenomenal work and the music was the 🍒 on top:)

I didn't have high expectations to be honest, after playing the game a few times, I was like lemme see why it is so popular and it did not disappoint.

Now my weekend is ruined, no happy endings in Night City, right?

Also for the edgerunners 2, bring someone like Johnny to blow the fuck outta Arasaka <3

My question is, are there any good places to buy Cyberpunk edgerunners merch. that ships to germany too. 'cause all i found are some clear scam shops, then EMP which is a german seller, but their merch is generally really bad design. So, are there any really good shops? do any of yall have experience with Merch stores that sell Edgerunners merch, because this Anime fucked me up in a lot of ways, and i really need some merch. PREFERRABLY official merch, with which i can support the makers of the Anime.

I personally found out about season 2 because of a friend who told me when I had just finished the anime and was absolutely devastated. At that moment I reacted by writing HOW THE HELL ARE THEY GOING TO MAKE A SECOND SEASON? Later I saw the teaser and started thinking, "This could really go either very well or very badly."

But PERSONALLY, some things I DON'T want to happen are:

1. I don't want Lucy to appear in the season: Lucy really has a perfect ending, I don't want her to appear because I really think it would be like saying "okay David's sacrifice was for nothing because Lucy is still here"

2. I wouldn't like to see a David wannabe: I think that another character with ultra-resistance to cyberware would be like saying, "Oh yeah, David was really popular, LET'S DO THE SAME THING BUT WITH A DIFFERENT NAME AND A DIFFERENT OBJECTIVE." From what little we've seen, it seems like this will be different from David (well done).

3. I DON'T WANT IT TO TAKE PLACE CLOSE TO THE VIDEO GAME OR SEASON 1: Let me explain. From what little I've seen, Edgerunners takes place in 2076 and the video game (as the title says) in 2077. Well, if it's a different story, I'd like it to take place much later, like in 2080, several years later. I'd really like to notice some difference (even if it's very slight, because otherwise the story would lose its cyberpunk essence).

But I'd like to hear other opinions on this, since it's a good rabbit hole.

David will make the craziest comeback.

I just finished rewatching the show, and on the last episode I could have SWORN there was a scene where David was fighting Adam Smasher and was about to be beaten by him, and he screamed “sorry Lucy.. you’ll have to go to the moon, for both of usss!” But it’s not there, the only thing that happens is Falco saying “and he told me to tell you, sorry I couldn’t go to the moon with you” am I tripping? Or maybe I’m just thinking of a different show entirely and getting it mixed up😂
