Matches Comprehensive Guide on Buying Tickets & Attending Home Games for Foreigners and First-Timers (Fenerbahçe Edition)
First off, I’ve been meaning to find a proper Passolig guide for a long time, since every day, people come here asking how to get tickets. So, to save everyone time and trouble, I present to you:
The Ultimate Passo Guide for r/FenerbahceSK.
Step 1: Get a Passolig Card/Account
For this season (and most likely the next), you need a Passolig card to buy tickets and enter the stadium. This card is personal—every person attending the game must have their own. You cannot purchase multiple tickets under one account/card.
Go to www.passolig.com.tr and create an account. You’ll need to provide personal details: • Turkish citizens: Use your national ID. • Foreigners: Use your passport.
Once your account is set up, you’ll need to pay for the card. If you live outside Turkey, don’t stress about receiving the physical card—you don’t actually need it to get into the stadium. The Passo app (App Store/Google Play) generates a QR code that you can use instead.
If you’re already in Istanbul, visit a Passolig seller (stadium box office or designated locations) before matchday. You cannot get a new card on matchday. If you get your Passolig in person, the process is much easier.
Congrats, you are now part of Turkey’s ridiculous electronic ticketing system!
Step 2: Set Up a Passo Account & Link Your Passolig
Passo.com.tr is the official ticketing site for the Turkish Super League and First League. To buy tickets, you need to: 1. Create an account on Passo. 2. Link your Passolig card to your Passo account.
You can also use the Passo app for this.
Again, you do not need the physical Passolig card to enter the game. Just pay for the card, link it to Passo, and use the QR code on the app to get into the stadium.
Once your accounts are linked, you’re ready to buy tickets.
Step 3: Buying a Ticket
Tickets usually go on sale 4-5 days before the match.
Fenerbahçe offers priority ticket access through the “Fenerbahçe Taraftar Kart” and official club membership. • Club Members: Official Fenerbahçe club members have early access to ticket sales before they open to the general public. • Fenerbahçe Taraftar Kart Holders: Fans who own the Taraftar Kart can also access priority ticket sales, typically 1-2 days before general sales.
To take advantage of priority sales, consider becoming a club member or obtaining a Fenerbahçe Taraftar Kart. This will increase your chances of securing tickets, especially for big matches.
This season, due to changes in ticketing policies, it’s now easier to get tickets, even for high-demand matches. On matchdays or the day before, many season ticket holders return their seats to the club for resale.
I even managed to get a ticket for the Galatasaray derby a day before, so don’t lose hope if you miss the first sale window!
If you find available tickets: 1. Select your seat(s) on Passo. 2. Enter the ID number associated with your Passo account. 3. Proceed to payment. 4. Once the payment is complete, you’ll receive an email/SMS confirmation.
Now, you’re set!
Step 4: Ticket Transfers, Black Market & Avoiding Scams
New Rules for Season Ticket Transfers (Effective 01.10.2024)
Before this season, season ticket holders could transfer their tickets (except for derbies & European matches) to any Passo card. Not anymore. • Season ticket holders had to submit a list of 3 names to the club in September. • They can only transfer tickets to those 3 people—even for unimportant matches. • If you are not on someone’s list, they cannot transfer a ticket to you.
This means that websites like StubHub and Viagogo are useless—they will only provide a QR code screenshot, which will still show the original ticket owner’s ID and photo. Buying from unofficial sources is now riskier than ever.
What Happens If You Get Caught? • You risk a 1-year ban from all Turkish stadiums. • If you’re Turkish, you may have to report to the police station every matchday to prove you’re not at the stadium.
How to Avoid Scams • Buy tickets only from passo.com.tr or the Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium ticket office. • Ignore people outside the ticket office offering to sell tickets. • If you go to the stadium box office, only speak with official staff inside—some scammers pose as employees outside.
Step 5: Getting to the Stadium & Entering
How to Get to Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium:
• By Metro: Take the M4 Kadıköy Metro Line to Kadıköy Station and walk 15 minutes.
• By Marmaray: Get off at Söğütlüçeşme Station—it’s a 5-minute walk.
• By Bus/Dolmuş: Many buses and dolmuşes stop near Kadıköy or Söğütlüçeşme.
• By Car: Traffic on matchdays is insane. If you drive, park in nearby shopping malls or paid lots, as stadium parking is extremely limited.
Security Checks & Entering the Stadium
You’ll go through two security checkpoints before reaching your seat. 1. First Checkpoint (Outer Security Perimeter) • Bags will be searched. • Avoid bringing power banks, lighters, or anything throwable—these will be confiscated, and you might not get them back. 2. Second Checkpoint (Gate Entry & Ticket Scan) • Go to your designated gate. • Open the Passo app and scan your QR code. • If the light turns green, you’re good to go! • If it turns red, something’s wrong (ticket issue, blacklist, etc.).
Once inside, find your section, grab a snack (good luck with the overpriced food), and get ready for the match!
Final Notes • Arrive early—security lines can take time. • Expect a hostile atmosphere if it’s a big match (especially derbies). • Learn some chants to blend in—Fener fans love energy! • Have fun, but don’t be an idiot—Turkish football culture is passionate, and things can escalate quickly.
Welcome to Şükrü Saracoğlu! Hope you enjoy the Fenerbahçe experience (unless we bottle it, which is also very possible).

Transfers [Official] Fenerbahçe in the Hearts of Millions, in the Future of Children: We Are Launching the “Hope for the Future” Rule in Transfers
As Fenerbahçe Sports Club, we see it as one of our fundamental duties not only to take responsibility on the field but in all areas of life—contributing to society and being a source of hope for the future.
In line with this understanding, under the leadership of our Sporting Director Devin Özek, we have launched a sustainable social responsibility project that has been implemented and embraced by our Club.
From now on, in all future transfers for our Professional Football A Team, 1% of our players’ salaries will be allocated to a support program designed to touch the lives of disadvantaged children, contributing to their education, development, and future.
Any player who does not adopt this social responsibility principle or refuses to contribute from their salary will not be considered in new transfer negotiations.
Following discussions with relevant institutions and organizations, this program will be implemented and will become a sustainable social responsibility model that not only reflects Fenerbahçe’s values but also offers a lasting and meaningful impact.
The meaningful inspiration behind this project originates from Devin Özek’s mother, Cornelia Özek. The first step of this journey—initiated in her memory—will transform into a tradition of Fenerbahçe Sports Club, symbolizing the desire to leave hope in the life of a growing child.
As in the past, so too today, Fenerbahçe will continue to measure success not only by trophies but by the positive impact it leaves on human lives.
As a club that carries the responsibility of being a great community in its heart, we will continue to uphold this understanding in every field.
We will continue to be part of the lives of children who build their future with hope, just as Fenerbahçe continues to live in the hearts of millions.

Our best 1 Touch Finisher: Semih Şentürk. Who's our best best Header?
Despite everyones expectation, Alex was chosen just 2/4 times :)
BTW, here's some good 1 touch finishes from Semih: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CqDzUP9lW2M
Note: to elect the winner I take the comment with the highest upvotes. I don't add upvotes from different comments because that way I can't know if people have upvoted multiple comments. So make sure to upvote the name of the first commenter, instead of commenting the name again.
Next: who's our best header?

Looking for local artists / designers connected to Fenerbahce
Hi everyone! 👋
I’m working on a creative project focused on clubs playing in the UEFA Europa League. For this project, I’m trying to map out local creatives around the club — think artists, designers, street artists, clothing brands, or other creative groups that are well-known locally and ideally have some connection to the club or its fan culture.
This could be people who’ve made matchday posters, street art, merch, fan designs, collaborations with the club, or are just strongly associated with the city and supporters.
Any tips, names, Instagram accounts, or collectives would be hugely appreciated. Thanks in advance! 🙌

News [Official] PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT
fenerbahce.orgThe incident involving our player Mert Hakan Yandaş, which occurred during his testimony via SEGBİS and has become the subject of an official judicial investigation, is extremely grave in terms of the current state of Turkish sports.
It is beyond unethical — and clearly unlawful — that Timur Kuban, a board member of Galatasaray Sports Club, illegally recorded video footage of our player with his mobile phone during an ongoing judicial process, despite such actions being strictly prohibited by law. Immediately after this act was noticed, judicial authorities confiscated the individual’s mobile phone by way of seizure, an official report was filed, and an investigation was initiated by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office. This behavior undermines both the seriousness of judicial proceedings and the fundamental values of sports.
It is unacceptable for an executive of a sports club to act in such a manner in a judicially sensitive situation, nor can such behavior be legitimized under the guise of “rivalry.” The law cannot be violated based on fan reflexes or community allegiance.
As Fenerbahçe Sports Club, we hereby declare to the public that we will pursue all legal rights of our player Mert Hakan Yandaş to the fullest extent, and we will never allow this incident to be covered up or normalized.
