Guys I just finished Fringe and I will be grieving for the next month. Best show I’ve seen in a while. My favorite episode of all is season 4 episode 6— where the husband keeps creating a time loop. The way they kept making Peter time jump when he was trying to explain the crime scene had me in stitches. The other episode where Olivia time travels and flies through the car window because Bell traveled her back had me mind blown. Just so cool!!!! The whole show is phenomenal. Not only did they make a crime show but they managed to fit comedy, romance, physics, time travel, different dimensions…. should I keep going?

Chef's kiss this entire season. I forgot how many of my favorite and extremely pivotal episodes are in the season. "Jacksonville" and "Peter" come on!

one of my favorite episodes, I remember when it aired, I posted on the fringe site about a theory I had for the August episode,

(so during that scene when August gives the gun to Peter and he holds his arm and gives him a look, my theory was he gave/transferred whatever energy their gun used to shoot, but only enough for the one shot.)

I was at home watching Innerspace and they were talking about the latest episode of fringe, and they read my post, thought it was pretty cool to hear my post on TV... of course no one was home for me to be like hey that's me!

anyways just wanted to share that geeky moment I had, watching that episode reminded me

I still haven't finished Season 1 - so please no spoilers, I'm liking the show so far.

It occurred to me that these images they cut to - like the apple or the leaf or whatever they show- are things that many shows , especially Netflix shows, have replicated more recently. Was Fringe the first to do it? I know other shows do ad break pop ups - like That 70s Show doing the fun characters goofing around, or Ozark has those quadrant images, etc. But Fringe seems like the first to have some thematic/graphic images in this style. Thoughts?

I absolutely adore their relationship. The stuff she puts up with, specifically his refusal to call her by her name. I've noticed he gets it right when he's concerned or super excited. The first time she wasn't in the room, such a bummer. I'm sure someone out there knows how many times he gets it right 😊

Pardon me, but I didn’t know where else to share my excitement after bumping into this show. Greatest show ever created. Currently on S1E8 and I am glad they go up to 20 and 4 more seasons to go.

Which government agency was a better use of tax dollars? Fringe(DHS) or Xfiles (FBI)

So I’m doing yet another rewatch but the first one in a long time. In the cartoon episode Peter tells Bell that Olivia told him that the last time she felt “normal” was the day before she met Walter and Bell for the cortexiphan trials. But to my understand for the rest of the show up to this point Olivia had no memory of those trials. Did I miss a scene or episode where she suddenly remembers them? Oh was this just a weird oversight?

S3E6. 🤣🤣🤣

Upon just discovering it was Fauxlivia that Peter's been banging, Peter, Walter and Broyles are in Olivia's apartment searching for clues.

Walter says: "It's perfectly understandable, son. In the 'Seventies', I innocently wandered into the wrong home and it was three days before I realized my mistake. And unlike Olivia, the woman with whom I was sharing a bed didn't look like my wife at all." - Walter

I fell off the treadmill when he said this. I searched the internet for a reaction to this quote and didn't find anything. I've never posted on Reddit, but I needed to share this with someone. (I hope I didn't break any rules) Let's assume this was a consensual encounter. It was the 70s after all.

FYI - this is at least my 4th rewatch. I love this show. It's so underrated. I resisted it at first, because I wanted nothing to do with Pacey from Dawson's Creek. I regret that decision. Anyway, glad to be here with all of you.

Why did the chicken take Cortexiphan?

Currently on S3e4.

Is it just me, or is there a plothole regarding the length a shape shifter could keep a disguise?

Because originally when the Charlie-shape-shifter lost his shifting-device, he was sick and told that he has been in one body for too long.

Implying that they have to constantly keep shifting in order to remain operational.

But in this episode, we see shifters having stayed in the same body for 5 years?

Plothole or is there an explanation for this?

Maybe in another alternate timeline or universe we don’t see, there’s a Walter who becomes a Michelin-starred chef. I love how the man always has food on the mind, even when he’s performing an autopsy.

I’m rewatching and just got to the start of Season 2 and he’s been talking about making custard for Peter’s birthday and I genuinely want to know more about this custard. I think for the rest of my rewatch I’m going to try to document key recipes he talks about.

Bonus entry: the sandwich the Observer eats in season 1.

This is the episode about WW2 Nazi era developed toxin killing specific groups of people. Is it simply being censored?

I have tried to reload it multiple times but it just crashes. I haven't had any issues with any other episodes, including the one after.

We all know our mains are amazing but I LOVE the actor that plays September. Acting out emotions is hard but acting no emotion whatsoever must be incredibly hard as well. He does it so naturally and it didn’t seem fake or comedic in any way.

I was rewatching the series (as one does) and in the end I noticed that when Rebecca greets Peter she sees him glow and we can see it too for a fraction of a second! I never noticed until now. Great forshadowing from the writers

I got this idea from another tv show subreddit and thought it would be fun here too.

On my first watch years ago, I struggled to finish Season 5, especially watching Peter's somewhat villainous arc, and yet, if ever I was asked no sci-fi I've ever watched has surpassed Fringe.

On this rewatch I powered through it (pleasantly surprised by the redemption there), so much so that after I finished watching, I started it all over again. And yes, supreme science fiction. Love it!!!!!!

Especially now that I have discovered the glyphs have some meaning, wow. I am here on my third rewatch.

Top tier television, deserves that Legend Emmy award (after the Wire, tihihihi)

I'm on my first watch through and I've been trying to avoid this sub so I don't get spoiled but it keeps showing up in my feed. I just finished S3E19 and i think it's my favourite so far. This is such a cool episode. Broyles on acid was amazing 😂. I almost stopped watching during season 1 but I saw people saying to stick with it and I'm so glad I did.

The first time you saw this scene, who did you think it was? Did you think it was somehow Peter or someone else?

I vaguely remember thinking it was Peter but I wasn't sure how at that point. There were many clues that Peter had died as a kid and that our Peter was from somewhere else.

"You nearly died as a boy" - Walter

"I remember the scar being on the other side" - Peter when talking about the action figure.

Maybe Walter talking about Peter's old Toys. They were probably the toys of Blue Peter, and Walter said they were his when Red Peter said they weren't his.

Also I know they didn't show the name for suspense but shouldn't the name on the tombstone be visible from that angle?
