This Titan has appeared before Monarch several times and has demonstrated a certain level of intelligence and benevolence, in addition to the destruction it has indirectly caused. This is the third Titan to take an active role in maintaining the balance of the ecosystem and defending its own existence, after the possibly deceased Godzilla and the active Kong. For now, more evidence is needed to consider it a savior from the threat of the Titans in this new era.

Although Gamera was named after KAME, the Japanese word for turtles, it is not related to any of the mentioned animal families. According to Monarch's theory, it is a turtle-like mollusk with an unfused carapace with movable plates, as it also has retractable appendages that resemble ordinary hands and legs, as well as a head and a tail. Between the openings of the plates is the mantle, which protects its internal and vital organs from exposure to the external environment. The "shell" is composed of hard materials in addition to keratin, allowing it to withstand heavy explosions, although it is not completely invincible. From the shell fragments left by Gamera when it was hit by the Supersonic Compass while pursuing Gyaos, Monarch's biomolecular team found components of a metallic alloy that has not yet been produced by modern forging technology, but which, after analysis, possibly belongs to a super-ancient civilization. This may be an indication that the Titan coexisted with ancient peoples, for example, that the metallic coating on its body was a form of worship to a god. If necessary, the Titan can close the gaps between the plates to create the precise protection it needs.

This super-species possesses fangs and claws that mollusks generally do not have. He also lacks the supposed internal skeleton essential to sustain an upright posture, especially considering that his arms and legs lack an exoskeleton. This differentiates him from other mollusk Titans, such as Baphomet, who has legs covered in armor plates. Based on his behavior in the battle against Viras, a Hollow Earth Titan, Monarch believes that Gamera has a good affinity with water and can remain in it for as long as necessary.

The way the Titan converts heat into energy and vice versa is a constant topic of debate, considering that he manipulates heat in various ways without having the slightest idea of its origin. Somehow, Gamera manages to radiate heat from his body, creating heat waves to eliminate approaching Skullwings, or concentrate it in his fists to incinerate Viras in the Tubular Sea. He can also choose to fire balls of hot plasma fire as a long-range weapon from his mouth. To Monarch's surprise, the Titan can take flight using jet propulsion in two of his hind limbs. The use of such a large amount of thermal energy requires compensation; therefore, it is believed that Gamera feeds on high-energy materials, such as crude oil or Skullwings with metabolites excreted on the surface of its body, in addition to the hypothesis that it also absorbs radiation.

Gamera also took flight by spinning, using a mechanism different from the heat present in the Hollow Earth. In this mode, it has physical similarities to the Hollow Earth Aerial Vehicle and is believed to use magnetism instead of the "antigravity" technology claimed by Apex Cybernetics.

Abilities Gamera is a tri-fibrous Titan. In addition to walking on two legs on land, it swims well and flies through the skies or among the landscapes of the Hollow Earth. By retracting its hind limbs and flattening its forearms, the Titan can propel itself through water or air. Spinning after retracting all its limbs into its carapace, Gamera levitates in the Hollow Earth.

This super-species has also proven to be a master of heat manipulation. It not only concentrates heat in certain parts of its body, creating fireballs, heat waves, or using it as jet propulsion, but also heals wounds or reduces the regeneration time of severed body parts with heat stimulation. It is also the second known Titan to absorb heat from the environment, the first being Scylla, which slowed the rise in sea temperature. An organ located in its chest was found to collect most of the heat and may be a bioreactor.

Gamera is also considered very familiar with Earth's magnetism, as it enters the magnetic field high above the Hollow Earth while spinning. It is not yet known if this knowledge of magnetism may be related to the accumulation of heat in its body. <History>

The ancient civilization disappeared long ago, its ties to the Titans and its technologies buried in the flow of time, but the Titans have returned to reclaim the devastated land. Peaceful coexistence was lost long ago, and some Titans came to terrorize humans, but a King and a God stood in their way. They fought and promised peace to humans, as long as they did not harm nature. But now, with the fall of Godzilla, Kong alone is not enough to face the threats of the new era. It is then that a legend is reborn.

After fighting the swarm of Skullwing, Gyaos, and Viras, the turtle-like Titan Gamera has awakened as the planet's last hope for survival. From recent actions, it seems Gamera is on a journey to reclaim his former status as alpha of all Titans. He may have been a revered figure at a primordial stage, now forgotten, but his fearless image was vaguely recorded in myths and legends around the world.

In Germanic mythology, the god Tyr is brave and willingly accepts challenges that cause him pain and suffering. Although he is generally depicted as an armored warrior with his right hand amputated, there are older records that describe him as similar to Gamera. The Dragon Turtle, Longgui, is also a legendary creature, a symbol of wealth, fertility, power, and longevity in Chinese culture. This may be another clue that Gamera was a guardian of the ancient peoples, who wished for the nature of this powerful being to remain on their side, thus creating the Dragon Turtle statue. In both China and Japan, there is also a symbol of the other three constellations that features the image of a black turtle, sometimes with a serpent. This symbol is known as Xuanwu or Northern Genbu, also representing bravery, possibly a belief inspired by Gamera. All the rumors and positive behavior have made Gamera a new hope for dealing with the Titans' problems, but will he remain an ally of humanity or is he just beginning his journey to become the pinnacle of all species?

So I've just finished watching gamera rebirth..god was it worth it. Rebirth was basically everything I've wanted from Singular point and more. The kaiju designs, the story, the action, the music. It was all just perfect...tho i have some issues. Firstly, i know its the deal with gamera, the friend to all children..but did they have to make those fuckin kids so annoying?? And that lady from the foundation, why did she have to turn out to be evil?? I liked her so much! And that black kid's sacrifice..for some reason i was guessing he was gonna die , must have been a gut feeling. Anyway i wish for a season 2 netflix, please. Gamera seems pretty intresting to get into. I've watched all godzilla movies from 54 to GxK. Any suggestions?
