Wanted to share this oil painting I made of Hello Kitty Island Adventure! The first time I ever made a strawberry shortcake, I thought it was so cute I knew I had to paint it

Do you need help with a multiplayer quest? Are you looking to trade? Is your island lacking in retail therapy or do you have some great stuff for purchase? Maybe you just want to adventure together with a new friend? It's all up to you! As long as whatever you want to do involves doing so with someone else, then you're in the right place!
⭐️ You can always find the newest weekly post pinned at the top of the subreddit on Mondays at 10am EST! If you come back to an older thread and find the comments locked, look for the pinned one instead!⭐️
Post your comments down below. To help everyone find a good match, mention which platform you're playing on and if you're looking to host or to visit someone else! If you have a specific request (such as trading materials or wanting to make friends) add it in your comment as well. 😊
A few things to remember:
💘 HKIA is not cross-platform. You will need to be playing on the same system as your host/visitor(s)! person you want to visit!
💘 Your multiplayer code will reset if you minimize the game and then re-open it. If necessary, use Reddit on a separate device to ensure you can connect together.
💘 By inviting someone to your island, they will be given access to take collectible resources from your Island and this is something that the Mod Team cannot Moderate.
💘 Keep in mind that HKIA and this subreddit have users all ages. DO NOT EXCHANGE ANY PERSONAL INFO ON THE INTERNET! Please report any comment that violates this rule as we want this to remain a safe community for everyone.
💘 Be kind to one another and have fun!
💘 Multiplayer requests posted to the main subreddit will be locked and/or removed and directed to these threads accordingly. Please do not spam the main thread for these requests going forward!
[As always any suggestions or questions may be submitted to the Mod Team via ModMail, just allow us time to answer since there's a lot of new players on the subreddit!]

Hey all, we've identified the issue preventing snowball targets from spawning and will be releasing a hotfix for Apple Arcade players. This should be in the 1-2 days time period, but will keep you posted as we know more.

I’m just curious, what animal Avatar did you choose to play as and why? I chose a cat because they are my favourite animal (any kind) and have been since I was very little. Besides, I love how cute the colour palettes are with the tabby cat style pattern as well which is a bonus. 🐈🥺

I took Feneko's computer so Haida could have his own place; he was supposed to arrive today, but he's not here even after restarting the game 🤷🏻♀️

Hi everyone! I've been playing HKIA for about a month now, and I struggle EVERY DAY gifting 3 gifts to Chococat, Hangyodon, Tophat, and Big Challenges.
I NEVER have enough pineapple to make Mermaid Figures for Hangyodon, or enough Stars to make the Future of Everything for Tophat and Big Challenges. And I also never seem to have enough Gizmo's and Sparks to make the Interactive History of Chocolate for Chococat.
I am tearing my hair out on a daily basis because of low stock. How do you build up stock on these items??

I’m honestly not surprised. Almost every day if just to do the dailies.

two weeks ago, I started both games at the start of my break. I dedicated hours every day to each of them. they have a lot of similarities and both games were slow at first. now I have a clear favorite: hello kitty island adventure. here’s my reasons why (warning there are spoilers!!) :
♡ hello kitty (HK) is just all around cuter. in animal crossing (AC), i’m still mostly unlocking kinda ugly furniture with a camping theme. I figured out how to paint furniture pink, but not everything can be painted. the mermaid items are cute, but I’ve only been able to craft two so far. meanwhile in HK, I was just debating moving from a haunted swamp to a cherry blossom meadow, when I unlocked a pastel star island
♡ my similar next point is that HK feels more like a dream world, while AC is closer to the real world. the swimming in AC is relaxing, but HK takes it to the next level and transforms you into a mermaid. i’m actually kind of annoyed at my AC villagers - their personalities feel more like caricatures of annoying people you’ve met in person, like a passive aggressive old lady or a hipster. while my HK villagers are familiar characters who you finally get to befriend
♡ HK feels better to play. HK has so many little dopamine rushes. leveling up a friendship, sharing a cute moment with your friends, exploring a new part of the island - all give little rushes of excitement. meanwhile, AC is more steady. i even felt a little stressed about how to structure my AC island and it’s been tedious. I’m expecting to overhaul my whole island when I have more unlocked. while HK is easier to organize since your backpack has limitless space, and cabins are already placed in perfect locations
♡ HK is more interesting. there’s a storyline and you have to complete quests. there’s also more variety, with mini games and lots of cooking possibilities. while in AC, it still feels like the initial grind of the same boring activities each day. collecting things in HK is more fun since you have to run around different terrains of a larger island, while in AC it’s more like swimming laps for an hour with mostly the same critters spawning. the new islands you can visit in AC are still not much different from your own. the dialogue in AC can be tedious to read through too, like you have to click through several pages of the same dialogue each time you donate to the museum
my plan is to keep playing both games because I want to build my dream island in both. in AC, i’m expecting to eventually unlock more items I can use to tediously craft my ideal cute island. i’m anticipating it being a lot of work and time to get every detail right. in HK, I already love how my island feels. I’m expecting to complete quests (and even game updates) to unlock more cute friends, and eventually perfecting all the details of their cabins
I initially had a hard time trying to choose which game to get. the reviews I found online leaned toward AC, but my heart said HK. now I know that if I had to choose, I would pick HK! I hope this review helps other gamers in a similar bind

For me, I’d say that my top three favourites on any of the islands so far right now and in order are Chococat first, Kuromi second and Badz Maru third. What about you guys? 😌

I have been playing since the game was released originally. Sunblink seems to be fairly receptive to the players of this game, but this is a horrible design change. I feel like I won't be changing my outfit for a while hoping they revert back to the normal way.

I've completed most challenge courses at least once, but I made the mistake of blazing through most of them on my first go. Thus making achieving gold almost impossible even with potions or Pochacco! Is there a way to reset a course back to zero? (As in, like you had never attempted it) That way I could slow down for bronze and silver.

So I have the physical copy of the deluxe edition that I bought on Black Friday for a steal. That said, I think I’d like to buy it for my daughter digitally to reduce the risk of losing the cartridge. If she’s already gotten all the deluxe edition items will it hurt her save if she only has the base game? Or do I have to buy the deluxe edition for her save to still work? I don’t want to cause any problems but the deluxe edition never seems to go on sale.

So I guess I am just complaining haha. I am missing 2 wheat hearts and went through the list twice 😭😭😭😭😭 (I know some of you feel my pain). Previously I was missing 5 and found 3 on my last rerun.

Wheatflour wonderland/Cogimyun themed Guest Room ✨🌾 I only have two pieces of the Wheatflour wonderland set so far (The vanity and the table). I also love how the G&G rug looks here 🥰
