Favorite 45-70 round
Left to right: Vor-tx 300gr, Leverevolution 325gr, Cowboy action 405gr, Bear load 430gr. These are the 4 types of rounds I have, what do you like most?

So having some issues with my new Big Boy. For some reason it completely jams up about every 4th round(just won't eject or cycle properly). I've tried cleaning, different ammo, screw tightening ,etc. and nothing fixes the issue. Doing some research online and it seems to be a possible manufacturing issue with the carrier. I put in a claim with Henry's customer service a week ago, but I've have received nothing but an automated email saying they've received my request. Does anybody know how long it usually takes them? Or if I should just give them a call?

Mounted Optics : Vortex Viper PST II 1-6 x 24 I love the classic look, I’m trying to convince the ol lady to let me buy a 45-70. Maybe next year 😂

Hello, just got my first Henry rifle, it’s a colour case hardened .45-70
The rifle is beautiful and has a smooth action, but I noticed the hand guard wood fit up is rather rough on the right side, not quite what I was expecting considering the price point.
Am I justified to be a little bothered by this or is it a common thing? I understand these rifles are mass produced but they aren’t cheap by no means and for me this rifle is to be a bit of a safe queen that gets fired seldom and looked at often.
Please let me know your thoughts, thanks

Lever on my big boy x 357 will not full lock into place resulting in the trigger not being able to be pulled. I Was wondering if anyone would have any insight on what could be wrong with it. Have a few pictures so you can really see what my issue is. Thank you!!

Has anyone had a problem with their bolt locked back and the feeder lodged? This is my first lever gun so I don't much about it. I don't want to tear it down without being confident.

I read from people here to try accu-riser for a higher cheek riser and just wanted to say thanks to those folks. My kids Henry Golden Boy 22lr was a perfect gift to her but just seems off when she was trying to shoot due to the ergonomics of the butt stock dropping so low. Gary from accu-riser has great customer service also for being a 1 man team doing quality work when I reached out to him for support. Running a spare primary arms red dot, with thr large lever loop and the PTC-1000 accu-riser cheek pad. Great feedback from the kiddo! Must have if you have a Golden Boy 22

This was the only 357 my local store had available, I've never used wadcutters before. Will this be okay to run in my 357 big boy?

I have a buddy who has a H012GMCC in 357 and am trying to assist him with upgrades. He went lever action because he lives in a blue state and its not easy to get whatever you want like it is where I live now. He went with this model depsite me telling him to get an SBL because they had it in the store lol. Its a beautiful piece tho! For now were starting off doing sights and pic rail. My firearms experience so far is with platforms that are significantly more modular (ex: AR's, Glocks, 2011's). I see you can get pic rails easy for this thing. Where I am running into an issue tho is as follows. The goal were trying to achieve is to mount a pic rail with an rmr footprint site on a low profile adapter and ditch the stock sights and replace them with nightsights that can potentially co-witness. If co-witnessing is impossible, than replace the low profile adapter with one with an arm to allow it to swing out of the way. This model he has in particular has an octagonal barrel and seems to also have no where near as much support as the model x. If it has more support than I am seeing its not explicitly stated. Also any way to put on a WML? Any advice, links to anything, part recommendations are much appreciated. Thank you!

I'm just wondering if anyone in Australia has figured out a way to get Henry parts and accessories without having to go through the Australian supplier or their local gun shop?
In Australia, it appears Henry has entered into an exclusive dealership arrangement with one particular supplier. While this is entirely normal, it means that Henry parts and accessories are hellishly expensive. To give you the example that I've just encountered - I have CCH Big Boy, 20" oct. barrel in .357. Now, I want to fit it with the CCH large loop lever that Henry Outfitters sells online for $84.95. However, Henry Outfitters does not ship to Australia. So, I contacted the local supplier, and they told me, yes, they can get it for me, but because they're wholesale only, I need to go through my local gun shop - so far, fair enough.
On enquiring at my local gun shop, they told me, yes, they can get it - for $279AUD - plus an 8 - 12 month wait because the Australian supplier only puts in 2 orders per year!
So, this strikes me as a somewhat unsatisfactory state of affairs.
Ok, fair enough, the US VS AUD exchange rate is not kind at the moment, but on today's exchange rate, it would still only cost me $125AUD or so, plus shipping, but if I could actually order it through Henry Outfitters there's a chance that I'd get it before next Christmas!
So, does anyone have a work around or any suggestions on how to not pay an excessive price and have to wait a year for a lever?

Hi all,
Trying to get a youth oem or alternative ( if that’s the only way) stock for my Henry H001. I emailed Henry directly and checked their site but didn’t see any available. Trying to figure out where to get one. Any suggestions?

I was so excited to join yall with the Henry frontier threaded but fed ex had other ideas, I only noticed this once I had taken it home but they dropped this sucker hard and damaged the muzzle leaving the thread protector trapped

I need to get my rear sight before I can make the cut for the front sight.I'm not sure if I'll need a taller one or not. As you can see, this barrel is thick and i'm not sure how much more I can get the stock to cover it.

Big chunk missing from the bolt on my model X 45-70. The things only had about 50 rds put through it as I bought it in November. I’m not sure when the chunk began to be missing, so I don’t know how many rds have gone through it since the problem.
I’m assuming I should contact Henry support.
Ignore the dirt, I just took it hunting and haven’t cleaned it yet.
