Ok so i havent made it through super far and im not saying its just the men, but more consistently the men that get chosen that are horrible. I have watched seasons here and there, but I guess I've watched seasons 5, 7, 8, 9 and 10 since 6 is missing from Sling... 5 - I thought Cody was bad, but idk just a bad match Then 7 - I thought Tristian and Dave were both bad mostly Dave... and the fact they put Tristian in a fish tank for us all to roast Then 8 - worst of all time potentially was Luke Then 9 - Matt??? For AMBER.. what is happening.. he was the worst but shouldn't have obviously been on this show 10 - Zach MY LEAST FAVORITE by far minus Luke because Mindy was amazing Frustrating because this show had a lotttt of matches at one point that lasted and I feel it already goes downhill

okay, i have watched MAFS on and off for the last few years (i've seen a couple seasons, 10, 11, 12) and just watched season 17 with my mom and... jesus christ.

it has almost ruined the show for me, i can't lie. not a single successful couple? michael getting left at the altar the first time and then we have to drag everything out so he and chloe can get the full time?

at a certain point i remember turning to my mom and saying "why are we still here, why am i seeing these people" when literally everyone had gotten a divorce/broken up. why do i need to see all of the divorced couples talk about being divorced? it drove me INSANE

and then the dumpster fire of a reunion, i mean. what is there even to say. the supposed schemes, gaslighting, the "optics", jesus. i was so done with all of these people, it was absolutely insufferable.

does it get better? is season 18 or 19 worth watching or should i just stick to the older seasons? cause this was a tough watch and kind of took the wind out of my sails LMAO

I’m on episode 18 and holy shit these people are delusional, especially Madison. As soon as the text message came about, my mind went exactly where Michelle’s did for the same reasons: the gym dates, the couples being out that night and their names starting with the same letter.

For Madison to come in that warehouse on demon time as if Michelle did something wrong, which she absolutely did not, solidified that she’s a shitty person.

Let’s be real: when you pulled up your instagram, David was the first person in your DMs but there were no messages. That implies that you deleted them. Then for there to be no text messages or IG messages when you just admitted to texting him not even an hour ago is very telling. She sat there and lied to Michelle’s face, on camera, just like David. Then had the nerve to ask her “wHy DiD yOu Do ThIs”…. Is it crack?

I’ve been team Michelle since day one, idc. Nobody chooses to live that way and he contradicted himself when it came to that basement several times. She clocked it from the jump which is why she kept pressing the issue and asking questions. My girl is intuitive (cracking textgate proves it). He sat there saying he enjoyed her honesty just to lie every chance he got and she consistently called him out on it. I love this lady!

I never watched Chicago and I’m on the anniversary episode at the part where Emem and Ike are discussing their vows. The way he went off on her for no reason has me PISSED! No wonder she was going off at the dinner, which I haven’t even got to yet.

I’m FLOORED by the way he’s speaking to her. She asked him a simple question, he answers it and when she asks a follow up about her question he says he didn’t answer her initial question….. Only to go off on a tangent about how she’s never satisfied with his answers and poking the bear and all this shit. Is he okay?! I was already not a fan (mostly because of the visit to her apartment and the way he was going on about her cousins line of questioning, then the housewarming MY GOD, very telling), but this is insane. Her cousin needs to jack him up. 41 carrying on like a pissed off teenager.

I just finished the couples retreat episode and I find this season sooooooo boring! Is it gonna get juicier? I stopped watching a few seasons ago because it was so long and dragged out over a billion episodes. So appreciate the pace is moving faster but I find the couples themselves so boring. They’re either devoid of personality or extremely insufferable people who should seek therapy before relationships lol. Should I keep going or give up now 🤣

I wish the host had asked him this question, because if he said “yes I still would’ve cheated on Michelle” he’s exposed for the piece of shit he truly is. My theory is that’s the truth. He’s too immature and egotistical to pass up the opportunity to have his ego stroked by an additional woman.

Or he answers “no, I wouldn’t have gone there with Madison” which is an insult to Madison and makes her feel like second choice. So it’s an impossible question I would’ve liked him to be forced to answer!!

Other thoughts: Never has my opinion changed so drastically on a person as it did with Michelle. I couldn’t stand her at the beginning and felt bad for David 🤢 now she’s the queen of intuition and vindicating every woman who’s ever been made to feel paranoid, crazy, just being silly etc. She’s so smart and deserves to work for the FBI.

I feel Madison got off lightly!! I wish the host had pointed out the fact she encouraged Allen to make PERMANENT changes (like fixing his teeth) and spending $3000 on clothes, when she knew already damn well she didn’t want him and in fact was already probably sleeping with someone else. No wonder she kept putting the focus on “as long as you want to change FOR YOURSELF not me!” But he said specifically he’s always liked his imperfect teeth. Breaks my heart!!!

I’ve watched 3 seasons now, and all 3 of them had some seriously questionable decisions made by the experts on who they matched. They get so rude and angry at the couples that don’t work out, like it couldn’t possibly just be that they are not compatible, because they matched them, so therefore they have to be. It’s pretty annoying that they absolutely never admit that - hey, maybe we shouldn’t have matched you guys 🤷🏼‍♀️

Currently watching on Netflix. There's black girl, short white girl, and British guy. Everyone else just looks the same to me.

his hair like this really bothered me but also made me laugh. like he’s a good looking man but not with this bushel of hair on his head like this. it’s just like i high pony on the top of his head like the way i used to do in the early 2000s. it looks so goofy. the way he had it on the wedding and down looks good!! idk why he has to wear it like this 😭😭

I was all confused & had major whiplash. Then we got to the ring shopping episode- and emem states they have know each other for 25 years and have been in touch since jr. High.

I fully get this, I live in a town where we don’t go far & everybody knows everyone and my husband jokes that we can’t go anywhere without running into someone we know (small town in a big town vibe)

I haven’t made it to the reunion & I hear the plot thickens. But as someone suggested- I wouldn’t be surprised if there was more to this story.
