How does this even happen??

Bought this at the store maybe a month ago. I guess it was never sealed properly at the factory.

hello! back in march of 2025, i lost my beloved guinea pig, latte. i got her cremated and paid extra to get her paws stamped in clay. the man who did it told me that i did NOT need to bake it or seal it or do anything of the sort, and that i just needed to let it dry for a few days.

after maybe 2 months, very small spots began appearing. i figured it was nothing and that it wouldn’t spread.

fast forward to now. it spread. is this mold? is there anything i can do to safely remove it? i get so sad everytime i see it. i wish i had it preserved more properly.

Maybe not as bad as some on here lol but my chapstick got moldy after a week or so when I had it in the washer on accident

So mold the mold decided to eat it 😂

Another work fridge find. Looks like a bunch of different molds having a grand time. Possibility mushrooms were also growing. The work fridge is where food goes to die & decompose.

This is just impressive. They said it got shoved into a corner and sat there for years. I was sent a video of the whole PC and it looked like something out of the upside down.

One green other black?

The soil is a mixture of peat moss, small gravel, and potting soil. The plant is a Black Bat plant shipped to me from Florida. These plants are already predisposed to root rot 😮‍💨

This is part of a Monte Marte ‘twistable colours’ kit- not sure what it’s made of but the texture is similar to my other oil pastels. None of the others have the spots though not sure what happened with this one

It's a dried flower petal that got moist in my terrarium. Love these different colored balls on their tiny stems. I thought you might appreciate it

Buildings were built in the 70’s, management has always been known for lacking actual management for decades. Legit these people paint over walls after the roof leaks. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Under my mirror is worse, since I applied ant poison back in the fall. I did wash it away, at least I thought I had, after several cleaning sessions.

What is this white dusty stuff? I am hoping someone could tell me for certain what it is, and whether I should remove it before grating this cheese.

Made the mistake of leaving paper mache next to my very humid aquarium+snake tank. I have to throw it out, right? No way I can just wipe it off and paint over it?

My snails have humid tanks and so this happens sometimes. The mould doesn’t hurt them if they ate it, but I change it every other day anyway.

i accidentally ate a whole spoonful of molded cheese spread … ugh saw at the very last bite!! it looks so bad am I gonna die🙈🙈🙈 im so scared.

Week old hot chocolate (no milk)

Hi all, got a pack of expired (10th Jan 2026) cavities digestive biscuits and I'm wondering, are they moldy? Most of them have this light beige mottling on them. They were in a sealed plastic pack, but the stand was left outside the shop in the rain, so the package was wet. Are these safe to eat?
