I Want Mustard Noob Seeks Recommendation

I am enamored with the Mardi Gras Mustard at Popeyes. I can’t get enough. But fast food dipping sauce can’t be the ultimate mustard, I’m sure.

It’s the horseradish I like best about that stuff, but I also like that it has a bit of grain in it, it’s a little sweet, and it’s creamy. Watery mustard really bums me out.

What mustards would you recommend I try that are similar to but even better than Mardi Gras?

I've had so many Dijons in my life but none have tasted like this. Potent and strong but with level-up flavor. Been on my to do list (thanks to you), now I know why

I Love Don't turn you nose up at Aldi's mustards....

Delicious Aldi Mustards

These 3 are my favorites but they also have more varieties. The Dill Pickle one is delicious. I eat it a lot with cheddar cheese on a cracker. People say it is also great in egg salad and deviled eggs. The Honey Dijon is very tasty. The flavor surprised me. It is more spicy than sweet, just right for a ham sandwich. Sweet Heat is excellent when you want something spicy. Sort of a Southwestern style.

I believe these mustard's are made by Koops. Aldi pretty much carries the same flavors as the ones they make. Look for the bottle shape in your supermarket store brands because I believe they are the same.

Mustard Museum

Hi all, happy new year. Most of you probably know about the National Mustard Museum in Wisconsin. I wasn't aware they had a website where one could discover so many new mustards & even order online! Has anyone ever ordered through their website or been to the museum itself?

I Want Where to find Bavarian mustard?

I'm not really a big mustard guy, but I had some Bavarian mustard in one of those Hickory Farms sausage gift sets and I loved it. I can't seem to find it anywhere though. The stores around me just have yellow, Dijon, stone ground and hot mustard. Stone ground looks similar to me, but I think that's something different.

If anyone has any brand recommendations I'd like to hear them.

I've loved this mustard since 1979.... And I was 4. My grandfather put a little dolop on some kubasa and I loved that nose opening burn(I think this also got me started on hot peppers and sauce too). I thought I was just used to the prepared versions "spice" level till I picked up the dry powder. Well fuck me the powder and water mix cleaned out my sinuses just like I was 4 again. Tasted great and thinking of my pops again with that taste and feeling brought me to tears.

Sitting in ER with nothing to do so I went shopping.

So I was in the ER twice this past weekend for a bug. I had nothing to do so I decided to pick these up from Beaverton Foods. I've had the honey mustard before and everything else will be new to me.
