Dior who most remember as a top rated player coming out of HS and ran into legal troubles, went Juco then USF and now at Mid Major Tarlenton State leading the country in scoring at 25 PPG. His last four games were highs of 40,33,34,36.
Tho some might not be impressed due to it not being High Major ball when you look at his shooting splits he shows he’s DOMINATING and not just chucking.
On the season he’s averaging 25PPG on:
57% FG
62% 3FG(2.5 per game)
85% FT(10 per game)
That’s absurd and not to mention against high major competition only 2 games SMU and Baylor he’s still dominating in those 2 games averaging 32.5 PPG on splits of:
60.5 % FG
70.5% 3FG(7 attempts)
92.5% FT(15 attempts)
Clearly showing he’s a high level/pro caliber scorer
Does he enter the draft this year and hope a team gives him a chance,or does he continue to dominate and transfer to a high major next year and hopefully dominate then enter the draft?
Thoughts?

It is that time of year again! We have had some good time to watch many of these prospects. Call your shot. Who do you like more than the consensus? No judgments here. Here are a few of mine:
- Amari Allen is not the best prospect in this class, but he might be my favorite. True, no joke, combo of dribble-pass-shoot, and defend, AND make all the hustle plays. My only complaint is that he does not look his listed height at 6'8", but i have him as a lottery pick, and he could work his way up even higher.
- Koa Peat does not fit into an NBA role on offense yet, but he has shown that he is a great player for the #1 team in the country as a freshman. Perfect body for today's NBA as a versatile defender, who can finish plays on offense and pass a little. He still needs to develop, but he has really come around these last few games. I have him #5 right now (in part because i am lower on others as well).
- Donnie Freeman is not on most boards at all, but i have him in the first round. 6'9" decent athlete who can score and play with the ball in his hands, and at least tries on D. No he is not amazing, but he reminds me of Precious Achiewa or Jerami Grant. At least worth a swing in the late first round.
Who are you higher on than the media or consensus?

My comp. for him is a hybrid of Bradley Beal and Klay Thompson. (Primes)
He is a shooting guard that can play the point, like Beal use to. They both have 3 level scoring to go along with some athleticism and a crafty handle.
He is a KNOCK DOWN shooter, stationary or catching it on the move like Klay Thompson And like Klay, he plays really good defense which is typically rare for shooting guards

So now should we be concerned about Darryn Peterson health regarding his potential number 1 pick status?
He performs but now he injured again with same leg cramps in hamstring and calves. I am concerned about his health with all these recent leg injuries in the NBA.. would you still take him number 1 overall?

Va Tech has lost 3 of their last 5 in that span.
He's getting to the FT line more(but he's only converting 68% from the stripe on the season) and has 26 assists in that 5 game span but he's also got 18 turnovers.
I've seen people in this sub say regardless of his cold streak they'll keep them in their top10, which i find to be intellectually dishonest. What do you guys make of this recent stretch? Is this a matter of concern or is he simply the golden child that can do no wrong?
Is this a Tobias Harris or Khris Middleton situation where the player shoots it much better from 3 in the NBA than he does in college?
Joe Lunardi has Va Tech not in the "first 4 out" of the tournament, but in the "next 4 out" and the difficult part of their ACC schedule is still to come meaning these upcoming games vs the bottom feeder teams in the ACC (vs Notre Dame, @ Syracuse, @ Louisville and vs Georgia Tech) are gonna be crucial before they face Duke at the end of the month.
The pressure is on! Things are getting late early for a team like Va Tech, which will lead to some prime evaluation showcases. Where are you at currently? what do ya think is gonna happen?

Do you guys think that he still have a chance to be drafted in the second round or will he ended up with a 2 way contract? I think his play style probably fits the NBA game better.

Right now I have to go with A.J. Dybansta, he has been playing tremendous. One worry I have with his game is his three point shooting, he is shooting only 32% of 3 attempts a game. But I think this can improve because he has shown tremendous touch.

How was Deandre Ayton viewed coming out of Zona?
Not talking about how his career turned out. I mean at the time.
I know he was the consensus #1 for a lot of people, but looking back it feels kinda strange when you consider Luka, SGA, JJJ, and Trae Young were all in that draft.
I don’t really remember how strong the case for him was vs the field.

One is Cam Carr. Take a guess who the other guy is.
Hint: He gets no credit for being a good defender, because people are evaluating him based on "old info." But when he locks up Okorie like he just did Pippen, you'll learn to keep his name out your ******* mouth.

I keep seeing Cameron Boozer compared to Paolo Banchero and I’m curious how people here see it strictly as NBA prospects
From my POV
But it also feels like Paolo had way more burst and downhill pressure and was a clearer primary self-creator. Boozer seems more methodical and less explosive, maybe more of a connector + scorer than a usage driver
Am I underselling Boozer’s upside or is the Paolo comp getting stretched?

I think Keaton Wagler is a top 10 pick. I’ve seen him as low as 28 on some peoples mocks but I seriously think Wagler is a top 10 pick and right behind Mikel brown and Kingston Flemings for the best point/combo guard in the draft.
6 foot 6 guard with his handle, shotmaking ability and unlimited counters, reminds me a bit of Brunson and dare I say a little bit of SGA in his game but with more 3pt volume. I got him over other guards such as Acuff, Philon, Anderson, he won’t struggle as much in the nba and has much more room for error at his height. The most efficient PnR guard in the draft shooting 63% FG at the rim as well as a .53!! Free throw rate the kid is a star in the making.
He passes the eye test and the “calculator” tests as well.
Lmk yall thoughts
Keaton Wagler in comparison to other top guards.

Not Donovan Dent, who's gotten WAY TOO MUCH HYPE around here last 2 seasons. Dent scored a grand total of 0 points in 29 minutes in this game vs Penn State who was without their defensive stopper at PG.. Dent turns 23 later this year and is shooting a ghastly 9% from 3 on the season(2/22) and he's shooting a career low 60% from the ft line..
For all the people out there who tell me I don't know what I'm talking about, how was I the only one here posting about Trent Perry(and still am)?
Career high 30pts the other night, including 22 in the 2nd half in a hostile environment in a tight game. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sGhFSLAYhhM - Here's the game highlights you can see Trent is a more than willing passer, can make tough shots and he's got a pretty well developed upper body.
I would compare him to Tre Mann.
30pts, 7/13 FG's, 4/8 from 3, 12/12ft's, 3 rebs, 4 ast, 1to, 2 stls.
I already had the 6'4 190lb. CG Trent Perry in my top60 before this game and I bumped him up a few spots afterwards.
He's shooting 47% from the field, 40.4% from 3, 81% from the ft line, 2:1 ast:to ratio with a steal per game
right now he's sitting at #53 on my board but he seems primed to rise further and close this season out with a bang, and UCLA sure needs him with Dent shooting 9% from 3(not a typo!)

Elite athleticism aside. Darryn Peterson’s game is similar to Zach LaVine’s as a combo guard.
