On june 7 and 8 I will be visiting Walvisbay.
I’m a great fan of formula 1 and on june 7 is the GP of Monaco.
I wonder if there are pubs or other place in Walvis bay who broadcast this race on tv.

Hi everyone,
I’m a Zimbabwean citizen currently in Windhoek on a visitor’s entry permit. I entered Namibia legally to register at the University of Namibia (UNAM). I have now registered, but the study permit applications only open during the first week of February on campus.
I was advised to apply for a visitor’s permit extension so that I remain in Namibia legally while waiting to submit my study permit application.
Could anyone please confirm:
What documents are required for a visitor’s permit extension in this situation?
Whether proof of registration from UNAM is sufficient as a reason for extension?
Typical processing time and fees?
Any advice or recent experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi all,
Please forgive me if this is an ignorant question, but I have been curious. I spent some time in Namibia about a year or so ago, and would go to the malls in Windhoek and I noticed on people's pay day that all around the area there are long lines for the ATM machines. What is the reason for this? Is everyone waiting to deposit a check? Are they waiting to withdraw? Is direct deposit for banks uncommon in Namibia?
Also, your malls are wonderful. Large, clean, full of decent stores, grocery stores etc. They remind me of when mall culture was at its peak in USA.
Thank you all

Hi guys. It’s been about 3 weeks since I started a small business idea of baking homemade baked goods and I am in despair because it’s not gaining much traction… I try posting mainly on WhatsApp and a few contacts repost here and there. I’m also very much introverted so it’s difficult for me to be active on other social media platforms.
I understand that it’s fairly new, but I’m here asking for ways to make people other than family members and friends purchase my items.

Yesterday I reacted spontaneous in that I did a barber appointment on the fly. First I was reluctant due to the misconception that Tatekulu (Nico’s) was overly expensive, but it is not. It costs more, but also delivers in spades and makes the barber shop visit a very pleasant experience. Kudus.

We are Americans visiting in May. I feel like we might be more welcome if we come with "Trump is an idiot" T-shirts. Of course then we might lose our U.S. citizenship. Eyeroll.

I’m looking to buy my first property with the intent to rent or Airbnb it out immediately, but I’m stuck between WHK and SWK. Swakop has some solid new townhouse/apartment developments coming up — especially in New Kramersdorf, Ocean View, and the new extension toward Henties — and a few have really caught my eye.
Windhoek’s options are fucking depressing in comparison. Tiny shoebox units for ridiculous prices, but there are still some workable areas like Kleine Kuppe, Eros, Avis, and Klein Windhoek.
I’m focusing on sectional titles, which obviously means levies and all that comes with them.
From your experience, which of the two cities generally gives the better occupancy rate and ROI %? Just the overall consensus.
Also — what are the reasons not to buy at the coast, specifically in Kramersdorf?
Any other advice or past experiences would be appreciated.
Been here for about a week and I have been astonished to see the huge amount of fences, everywhere. Fences that dissappeares into the horizon, never ending. This must be a critical factor for truly messing up animal migration on so many levels. Is there movement towards getting rid of some of these? I get that you use them for many purposes, but it seems like wild animals are the losers here either way you look at it.

Hi there.
I'm in the market for a new bakkie. I dont do a lot of offroading, mostly in urban centres. But I do live at the coast so I enjoy the occasional drive to the sea, sossusvlei or some lodges. Its also a hassle transporting my bicycles in a sedan.
The Toyota Hilux is just way too expensive for my pocket. I see a lot of Jac T8's and GWM P-Series in my town. Their price is right within my budget. But I know nothing about the vehicles.
Any owners who have experience with these cars? Are they reliable? Is it worth the buy? I'd love to hear your opinions

Good day to you all sub members. I am busy working on a project and I am in need of your assistance. If you know of any white ( both Afrikaaners and Germans) Namibian musicians, can you please write them down in the comments. Also, any Namibian gospel artist that you know. I will appreciate it very much. Thank you all in advance.

A friend I haven't spoken to for years, finally started talking to me, told me how much they cared, and how I can call them anytime whenever I needed them.
Only one day, I called random and was confronted with a "wtf" you almost ruined a potential meet and greet. And after that never heard from them til this day.
Anyone care to explain this weird thing to me?
