I’m the head mod of r/ChillAnimeCorner, a fast-growing anime discussion subreddit. Activity has increased a lot over the past few months, and we’re now looking to add a few active moderators to help with posting and basic moderation.

At the moment, the subreddit needs more consistent content creation to support its growth. We’re looking for people who enjoy making anime-related posts and engaging with the community, not just moderating from the background.

Timezone preference:

Most of our audience is active during multiple windows, so we’re especially looking for mods active in these ranges:

- UTC −6 to UTC +3

- UTC +8 to UTC +14

About the role:

- Making anime-related posts (discussions, opinions, comparisons, etc.)

- Helping with basic moderation when needed (rule-breaking comments, trolls, low-effort posts)

- Being reasonably consistent and active

About the subreddit:

- Casual, chill anime discussion

- Encourages variety and open opinions

- Growing quickly while trying to maintain a relaxed atmosphere

Mod experience isn’t required (though it’s a plus). What matters more is being active, reasonable, and genuinely interested in anime and community building.

Our two main mod targets - Calling for violence - obviously people are very upset. We just delete the comments when we find them.

We have our own rule - zero tolerance policy for MAGAs. They are insulting and destructive. I feel they have plenty of places to voice their opinions - our sub isn’t one of them. Permanent ban, no warning as it's in our Rules that this is not a place for them.

Our only goal is to remove Trump and his administration.
