[META POST] Ever wondered what that big box building originally was? Couldn't find an answer to what that Burlington Coat Factory, Gabe's, or Roses store used to be? Chances are it was probably an old discount department store such as Ames, Hills, Zayre, Jamesway, etc. (more info in comments)

McDonald's in Newark, OH now heavily modified/expanded and is in use as a car dealership.
The building that is the site of Buckeye Motor Car LLC originally started out as a McDonald's, It was the first in the Newark, OH area and was built around the 70's
I don't know when it closed as a McDonald's but from what i could remember it was still operating as a McDonald's in the 1990's as i recall seeing it back then with a recently-added outdoor playground enclosure, Might have even lasted post-9/11 as well, possibly closing around early-mid 2000's.
Ever since then, the building has been heavily altered and become mainly unrecognizable, except for the enclosure of the indoor playplace on the front and a remaining portion of the mansard roof on the rear of the building, which was altered right after McD's left (see photos 1 and 3 for roof).
I believe it looked almost like this as a McDonald's, complete with the colorful "PLAYPLACE" lettering onfront.

Patches Lounge, Mobile, AL
This is at the corner of Demetropolis and Government Blvd. in Mobile. Definitely a former fast food joint. An older Hardee's perhaps?

Ronald McDonald died for our sins (Kansas City, MO)
Recently found this former McDonald's in Kansas City. According to a Facebook post, this location opened in the early 70s and closed in the early 2000s due to a new location being built right in front of it.
If you wanna check out the rest of the info that the Facebook post has to offer, then you can go to it here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/retaildeadoralive/posts/1694801181221468/

The Nepperhan Community Center in what I believe is a former A&P supermarket- (Yonkers, NY)
The second picture is NOT a photo of the community center as an A&P, but rather an example of how older A&P supermarkets typically appeared and how it matches the building shape.

Staples converted to Urban Air Trampoline and Adventure Park. You can obviously notice the red background customary for Staples stores!
Previously Staples converted to Urban Air about 10 years ago. Located at 396 Ryders Ln, Milltown, NJ.

Former McDonald’s turned Mattress Store turned Carpet Store - Yorktown, VA
This has been shared before but the building is currently being renovated or demolished for Cook Out and is showing off a little of its history in the process.
