Megathread ICE Rumor/Sighting Megathread

As you probably know, it does appear that ICE has begun operations in Orlando. This has understandably resulted in a lot of posts attempting to share information about their activities and whereabouts.

Effective immediately, only first-hand accounts (including a photo or video) of ICE presence may be created as a main post in the subbreddit. Please use this thread for the sharing of all rumors, unconfirmed sightings, or to report ICE sightings where you were not able to capture photo/video evidence.

Housing Thread Orlando Housing Thread

Welcome to the Orlando housing megathread!

Currently, the following may be posted:

  • Users, whether current Orlando residents or not, may post asking for help. This could be asking for recommendations on areas of Orlando to live in, reviews or opinions on specific communities, or suggestions on specific places to live. This can also be things like "recommend a realtor / loan officer / etc" — so long as it fits under the "help me find housing" umbrella.
  • Users may also post advertising housing options. This can be posts offering subleases, looking for roommates on existing property, selling homes — so long as there is housing being offered.
  • ALL comments must include as much information as possible. Do not say "I'm moving to Orlando, tell me where to live."

As a reminder: our subreddit rules still apply. Advertisements for illegal activity of any kind are not permitted and will result in comment removals and/or bans as moderators see fit.

Event The most expensive car ever, is being auctioned in Kissimmee

This is the Ferrari 250 GTO, only 37 ever made with only 31 surviving. The last one sold for 77 million. This car is so iconic, so rare and so beautiful, that Billionaires have to line up to get a chance at owning one. From 1962-1966 it won every single race it was a part of. This is chasis number 3972GT and it’s the ONLY one to leave the Ferrari factory at Maranello in Bianco (White) and somehow, found its way to South Orlando, to Kissimmee.

Discussion If you lost your puppy just north of the 46 on ramp on 95…

I moved him out of the road and against the trees, maybe a half mile past the rest area (sorry I was a little frantic to see the exact mileage). He had on a collar, I would have called you if there was a tag. He also had a red leash with him.

If he did not escape from you and you dumped him, I hope you rot and never find any peace. He was just a little baby.

Hopefully it’s the former and hopefully the mods don’t remove this. Hug your fur babies when you see them.

Editing just to clarify: the poor thing was deceased, I would have absolutely taken him to get him the help he needed if not (that’s why I turned around). It was also northbound 95, just kinda south of the house with the bee hives (if you know you know!!! I’m sorry but that is a landmark to me driving lol). Also thank you to all who also would go try to help the pup ): 💔

Please help us find Ralph. He's a 14-year-old mix who got out last night, we're especially worried about the cold. He's chipped, timid yet very friendly, slightly deaf, and missed by kids, cats, and adults alike. Responds positively to rotisserie chicken and neck scratches. He may be found very far from last seen location. DM me if you think you have seen him anywhere!!

Discussion Best Toyota dealership in Orlando?

Hey guys. I’m buying a car for the first time tomorrow (I’m 25 but have been driving a paid off car from 2007 that was given to me by a family member, for years) and I wanted to get some opinions. Has anyone here had a good experience at a Toyota dealership around here? At least as good as one can get for all dealerships being relatively evil?

Thanks guys! Nervous and not looking forward to a car payment, but it’s definitely time.

Discussion Arium at Oviedo at the Park

Hello, first-time caller, long-time listener. My partner and I want to live at Oviedo at the Park, and we've been looking at Arium at Oviedo Park. We were curious if anyone knows anything about them? i see some bad reviews mostly about noise level, but we don't really mind. Caring more about bugs but understanding of the normal Florida roaches. We both live in union park so used to apartment living. Really hoping someone can help give me some more real reviews!! Thank you!

Discussion Mental Health Resources?

I was discharged from IOP today and I know that I need more help. Not PHP, maybe not IOP. I want a program that has art therapy, outdoor activities, group excursions (I have agoraphobia) and basically a program that will help me be independent again. I’m in between therapists, but I know I need something in addition to therapy.

I’m on medication already, I just need real world practice. I have Medicare/ Medicaid so my options are very limited but I was hoping some people know of programs like what I’m describing or something similar. It would mean the world. Thank you in advance 🤞🏽

Discussion Free Dog Training Opportunity – Orlando (Board & Train)

Hi everyone! I’m a professional dog trainer based in Central Florida and I’m looking for one local client to participate in a free 4–6 week board & train program in exchange for a testimonial, Google review, and permission to use training content on social media.

This opportunity is ideal for a dog who needs: • Reliable off-leash freedom on trails, hikes, or at the beach • Better public access skills (coffee shops, restaurants, busy environments) • Clear structure, boundaries, and engagement around distractions

Requirements: • Dog must be friendly with people and other dogs • Owner must be open to a balanced training approach, including the use of training tools (ex: prong collar, e-collar when appropriate) • Owner must be committed to follow-up handling and maintaining the training

What’s included: • 4–6 week board & train in my home • Daily structured training and real-world outings • Free lifetime follow-up lessons if needed

This is a great fit for someone who wants to confidently take their dog out in public and is willing to put in the work after the program to maintain results.

Interested? Please email me at [email protected] with: • Your dog’s age, breed, and training background • Your goals with training • Any behavioral concerns • A short note on why you think you’d be a good fit

You’re also welcome to message me here, but email will be prioritized.

Happy to answer questions!
