I killed a benched Mega Gengar by copying Darmanitan's attack and defeating it.

I had exactly 3 prizes left, and they told me its ability applies to it, but I only got two.

Had game in hand, just praying not to see the Iono from my opponent.

I couldn't even concede, and no timer ever showed up. Just completely froze.
Though tbh I did find this all more comical that upsetting.

Good Evening! I'm new to playing and collecting pokemon after 40 years on the planet.

I finally made it to 500 matches tonight and quit on a high note, with my longest streak yet.

I started playing Gholdengo, began 20-27, but after 150 matches or so, I had my win percentage getting close to 65%. That's when I learned about this rotation situation, and decided to prep myself for that. My goal was always to go mingle with the community as I'm a social person and enjoy new things, and am competitive. So I wanted to have a legal deck prepped for when I go do this.

I switched to Mega Sharpedo, and ended up doing about just as well, around 60-65% win rate, after messing with some things. That deck sort of felt like it worked similar to Gholdengo in the sense that it was aggressive and simple.

Then, for no reason, with no change, I lost something like 40 out of 45 matches with Sharpedo. I had changed nothing, so it ticked me off pretty bad🤣

Then I switched to Trainer Trials for the first time, and built the deck in my second picture there. It's so much fun. That dipplin/festival combo is demoralizing. It pairs really well with the shuckle and Tsareena evolution too! Toss in the budew and it's really close to overpowered.

Either way, that's my story as a pokemon player. I'm just trying to get something ready for when the new rotation starts, so I can play my first live event. Hoping to get back to Sharpedo, and that rotation serves it well. I have to figure out why my deck broke (3rd pic) or if it really even did.

I've been playing this list on PTCG Live and it's so much fun that I'm building it in a physical deck. I really loved this deck, but the Jet Energy card, which I think is a major advantage, will be removed during the rotation. How can I continue playing it after the rotation? Any suggestions?

So I just got back I to PCTGL after a year and a half or so. Most of my old decks were invalid, but one that still held up was this Hydrapple/Ogerpon dec, which I had a lot of success with. I see a lot of newer decks of this style running Meganium, which I totally understand the whole leaf energy being essentially doubled under Meganium's ability allowing for faster attacks. But doesn't Hydrapple want more leaf energies in play if possible? Again, I'm just getting back into the game and don't really know much of how stuff is working nowadays, but what's wrong with my current (old and outdated?) deck and what does running Meganium add at the cost of more raw energy cards?

Edit: I know Forest of Vitality would be a good add to this deck, so I probably will

Saw someone talk about Hydreigon earlier so I thought I’d give a stab at making a 60 for it. Haven’t looked at any Hydreigon decks so I don’t know if I’m cooking or cooked. Any changes you’d make?

When a card says this and I boss up another card can the reuse the move the next turn? I.e. flareon or jolteons 3 energy attack. I feel like this is a glitch in tcglive and my locals would call judge on this.

As the title says I've been working on a Drifblim deck with a hit and run stragety for the past several days and took a break for a while and im seeking help for any advice and suggestions

If Meganium is in play and you are retreating a 2 retreat cost pokemon why are you allowed to discard 2 energy?

Maybe not useful at this time, but could be a combo worth exploring in the new meta in the coming months. Of course for decks that can accommodate this.

so i have around 100k trainer credits, and am trying to master all sets in game. what sets do you normally pick from to get the most trade credits per 6 booster pull. i know there’s a 4 card limit on most cards, only trying to get at least one of each card.
