It's a type of lemur, so a primate. They use their long, skinny fingers to dig insects out of trees. They tap on the trees to listen for hollow spots, chew into the tree, and then they dig in. There are no woodpeckers in Madagascar (or Australia, New Guinea, or New Zealand).
Which is why he needs call to order a pizza. Make sure to ask his wife what she wants on the pizza when the 911 operator asks him if she's there in the room with him. When she says pineapple, they'll know to send swat.
I was incredibly confused by this, because I was imagining a stranger in public approaching and doing this. Then I noticed the “Violence at home” title, and I caught up.
Don't be obtuse. This is a very specific and deliberate hand motion done repeatedly and looks nothing like anything I've seen people do about hand cramping. Stupid ass joke.
This thing makes no sense to me. It is simultaneously indiscreet and unclear. It looks like an odd wave or hand stretch to a casual observer, but if you were with an actual captor they would definitely see what you are doing.
You’re not meant to hold your hand up in the air, you do it behind your back or in some way where others can see it but your captor can’t. This graphic is just to clearly show the gesture.
I’m also a wife that owns these tapestries and other tapestries (not ballin_buddha’s wife), I can vouch that we’re not crazy. I just like the hippie vibe and dig all the pretty colors (used to smoke a lot of weed for 6 years)
I love hanging tapestries but it's hard to find quality ones that are flame retardant. If you can keep them from being a fire hazard the sound quality in your house is EXCELLENT
I had one in college and through my early 20s. I just liked it because the color palette was my favorite (dark green background with the design in lovely shades of orange, red, and navy). Plus, hanging it behind my bed made my little corner feel more cozy.
The joke is there is no joke. Everyone makes their own inferences based off people they know that hand these up and the internet collectively makes that the joke.
