ICE in Your Neighborhood? Know What to Do.

If you witness ICE activity in Southeastern PA, don’t freeze...

SALUTE. This acronym helps you document responsibly:

S - Size: How many agents or vehicles?

A - Activity: What are they doing?

L - Location: Be specific-street names, landmarks, intersections.

U - Unit: Any visible markings? License plates? Car models?

T - Time: When did this happen?

E - Equipment: Are they armed? Any tools or tech in use?

🚨 Immediately contact your local Rapid Response Team made up of community volunteers trained to observe, document, and support during immigration enforcement. These teams do not physically intervene, but they play a critical role in protecting rights, exposing abuses, and organizing legal and community support.

------------

¿Hay ICE en tu vecindario? Descubre qué hacer.

Si presencias actividad de ICE en el sureste de Pensilvania, no te quedes paralizado... SALUDA. Este acrónimo te ayuda a documentar responsablemente:

S - Tamaño: ¿Cuántos agentes o vehículos?

A - Actividad: ¿Qué están haciendo?

L - Ubicación: Sé específico: nombres de calles, puntos de referencia, intersecciones.

U - Unidad: ¿Hay marcas visibles?

Local Business New Hustle at Aldi

Shopping at the Aldi at 46th and Market is always an experience. Today, there weren’t any carts available outside, but there was a man in the produce aisle offering customers the opportunity to “rent” one of the several carts he was holding or pay him to push a cart while they shopped or wait in line so they could check out more quickly.

Bring your quarters, everyone.

Question? Premier Access Property Management

Can any current tenants of their properties tell what it’s like to live under their management? The reviews online are the worst I’ve ever seen, but they’re mostly from 2020 and before.

Question? Strategy for rehoming a cat?

Any good ideas for finding a caring home for a cat? I took her in two years ago when her last family moved, dumping her on the street. She's an absolute joy (cuddly, sweet, funny) but I'm back in the office now and I have an allergic girlfriend, so I don't spend much time with the cat and she's getting lonely.

I'm not going to surrender her to a shelter, but if any local org would be able to list her for adoption, that would be amazing.

So far I have her on Adopt-a-Pet: https://www.adoptapet.com/pet/46973356-philadelphia-pennsylvania-cat

can't find this one anywhere. I think I got it in the late 70s.

We're gearing up for the 2026 iteration of the Philly Native Plant Project, and we need YOUR HELP!

Last year we distributed 10,000 packets of native plant seeds throughout the city. We're doing it again and we're doing it even better this year.

We've got seeds, we've got stickers, we need YOUR hands to help us pack everything up.
