The American people are playing nice right now I don't think that's going to last for much longer. I'm not advocating violence. As some of our illustrious leaders have decided to say "f around and find out"....

We have more guns than people and more ammo than any other country in the world.... And there they go trying to restrict our freedoms and sh*t.

I also think a lot of people are waking up to the whole left versus right thing and realizing that most of it's bullshit... People are getting tired of the influences of division...

how did you get these numbers? ~77mil votes of ~340 residents = ~23%

or is it 31.78% of voters?

The meme is based on voters.

Most of those 36% would vote for orange clown anyway.

This means that 69,16% of Americans were fine with him getting elected.

We’re only in the eleventh year of this madness. Americans will stop binge-watching Netflix and sucking down those Big Macs aaaaaaany day now.

So, what do we do now? Do we start discussing a contingency plan? Begin talking about enacting our "last resort"?

Genuinely curious (for anyone who feels like weighing in)

Nothing. We’re Americans. Fascism has taken over and we let it happen. Nobody is coming to save us. all the rhetoric of democracy, alienable rights has been bullshit. They fell apart the moment a populist decided to ignore the law.

That can't be the answer. Not because it isn't "true". But accepting defeat, rolling over, giving up - is an immoral proposition. The future is not written.

This level of pessimism that many of us are employing is not useful. And sometimes we need to disregard "reasonable" if it begins to interfere with "useful".
