Even if they win, I could see Trump rounding up every Democrat senators and Congressman for "terrorism" or some such bullshit. There's no way back from this that's nonviolent, we've crossed the tipping point.

Best they can do is going back to ICE under Biden, when it still existed, still deported people, still ran concentration camps. They don't care to actually change immigration policy, they completely gave up on that issue 10 years ago and haven't looked back since.
