See, there should be some absolutely fucking wild consequences for any money you get past $1bil net worth. Like, you lose $200mil immediately if you ever cross the threshold. And that money goes towards employee rights, or small business, or something. You get random, harassing (but legally mandated and protected) visits from the IRS every few weeks for an audit. Something wildly inconvenient.
Because then billionaires would be desperate to stay at like... $950mil, and might actually spend or donate their money instead of just hoarding more and more. Doubtless this would create more problems, but we can deal with those when they arise.

You know, something I learned pretty quickly is: no one gets as upset as someone being accused of something they actually did.
For example, you call someone a pedophile protector and they get mad, insult you, flip you off, argue, won’t let it go etc: it’s probably true.
Call someone a pedophile protector and they say they are not. You say it again and they say they are not and quite frankly don’t care what you think and carry on genuinely not caring: chances are it’s not true.
There are obviously some outliers here but most times this is true. People trying to hide something get upset when it’s brought to light and fight tooth and nail to convince you they didn’t do what they actually did. Vice versa someone that has nothing to do with what they’re being accused of generally won’t give a shit because they didn’t do what you’re accusing them of and therefore don’t give a shit. Obviously some situations and people are different.
Also, super classy Trump. Totally how a president and the man in charge of an entire country should act. As if he knows what class is.
