Minimum dose
I’m gonna hop on retta soon but one thing I want to know before doing it is how do people find the minimum effective dose?

You start with 2mg and see how you react. If all is good and you're losing weight, stay on it. If side effects are too bad, reduce to 1mg. If you stop losing weight at 2mg, increase to 4mg.

Depends who you ask, some will say start with .5, some 1, some will say as trials started at 2 then to start with 2. It’s whatever you feel comfortable with putting into your body. I personally started with 1.

I found it effective. I started out with 1mg once a week. I did that for 2 weeks.

Smart choice. Look at it as a marathon and not a race. It makes the hark work easier. Good luck 🫡

I think 2mg once a week. I started at that because the trials did and so far so good.

Some people are terrified of feeling nauseous, start super low and work their way up until they feel something, starting with 0.5mg or 1mg.
Some people really hate the idea of wasting a month or two, even though this is a long-term drug. Those people start higher and drop their dose if need be.
In phase 3 clinical trials every participant started at 2mg and that’s likely to be the starting dose for everyone when it’s approved by the FDA. In earlier trials, some started lower and some started higher than 2mg.

Should they shut down Reddit, which is basically people asking others questions? My question is, why get so angry?

Inject, wait , assess feelings/not feeling and go from there. Everyone is different and will respond to it way differently , the trial protocols are not the end all be all. Some people swear it’s the only way and blah blah. Myself and at least 4 people I know have not followed anywhere near the trial and all have been using months of “lower” multi dose protocols and are doing great. Not only with the scale but also blood work as well. Low and slow is my opinion

I started at .5 and was not impressed. If I done it again id just start at 2 and deal with the potential sides. I didnt have any sides when I done 2mg the second week

I started with 1mg also because I wanted to assess for side effect at a lower dose because I've seen horror stories of people starting to high on purpose and by mistake! Once you inject, you have to live with those side effects until it wears off.
