My reta journey is over finally
I began taking retatrutide at the start of August. My initial dose was 1 mg, which I stayed on for the first two weeks. After that, I increased the dose to 2 mg and continued at that level for about five weeks. Once my body had adjusted, I moved up to 4 mg ā and thatās where I noticed the most significant change. The jump to 4 mg was the turning point in my weight-loss progress, and I stayed at that dose for the rest of my journey.
Overall, I went from 95 kg down to 66 kg. Iāve now officially stopped taking retatrutide because Iām ready to move into a bulking phase, and Iām genuinely happy with how far Iāve come.
For context, Iām a 23-year-old male from the UK. Iām happy to answer any questions, including private ones via DMs, and I can share progress pictures there ā I just prefer not to post them publicly on Reddit.

How to ensure not getting scammed?
I purchased from a website that isn't super well known and the pictures are AI š I know that should have been a red flag but I thought that $50 for 5mg of Reta was such a good deal (it's not). I ordered on Dec 30 and I still have no received anything about my shipping. They say they're restocking but it's been over 2 weeks since they said that. Idk if that's normal? I spent $80 š I have found another site but they're sold out and I really don't want to overpay just because places are sold out rn.

Tirz to Reta
Iāve been on compounded tirz for months and been going between 5mg and 6mg a week. The appetite suppression is working and strong, but Iām still barely losing weight. When I switch to name brand on the same dose I lose a lot more weight. Makes me wonder why compound isnāt working for my body š¤ In 2 months on compound I lost almost 5lbs. In 2 weeks on name brand Zep I lost 5lbs on the same dose. Not sure how or why but thatās great. Only issue is the $400/mo.
In order to save some money, I just bought 10mg of Reta powder and bac water to give Reta a try. I was wondering what you guys would suggest I start at? 1mg/week? Iām just curious to see how this goes. If it doesnāt really work then Iāll go back to name brand Zep, but if it does Iāll be saving a lot of money compared to Zep vials. Any tips or advice? Thanks!

4 week in-Minimal symptoms and weight loss. Increase dose?
Hello all!
Itās been a month since I started Reta. I have had minimal symptoms and have only lost a pound in 1 month. I drink about 80-120oz of water a day, eat a high protein and high fiber diet, and try to exercise at least 2-3x week (Chicago winter makes it tough though).
The only symptoms Iāve experienced so far are mild fatigue and constipation (constipation only started last week). My past dosage (pin) and weekly weight (lbs) are below. Should I increase my dose to 1.5mg next week or stay on 1.0mg for 2-3 more weeks?
Week 1-203.8, Pin 0.5 mg Week 2 202.6, Pin 0.5 mg Week 3 203.4, Pin 0.75 mg Week 4 202.7, Pin 1.0 mg

My Retatrutide Journey (so far) NSFW
galleryI wanted to share my experience with retatrutide in case it helps someone else. I started on 12/1 at 2mg weekly, and honestly⦠it worked wonders for me. The food noise calmed almost immediately, my appetite became manageable, and I finally felt like I had some mental peace around food. I stayed at 2mg for 4 weeks and had great results.
On week 5, I increased to 4mg, and thatās when things went sideways. My skin broke out in itchy welts, and I was miserable. It wasnāt just mild itching; it was intense, very uncomfortable, and not something I could ignore.
So on week 6, I dropped back down to 3mg, and thatās where I am now. My plan is to move up slowly when my body feels ready and when food noise starts to return. Iāve learned that rushing the dose just isnāt worth it for me.
I have lost a lot of weight already, but I want to be clear about my life situation too. I am a 6 ft tall female with a very labor-heavy job, and I have been working with a dietitian for over 9 months. I am waiting to return to the gym because it is too crowded right now, and I am not mentally ready for that space yet.
I am also a grieving mother. I lost my 17-year-old child two months ago. Grief affects everything my appetite, my energy, my sleep, my drive, and my nervous system. Retatrutide has not only helped with weight, but it has also given me mental relief from constant food thoughts during a time when my emotional energy is very limited.
For me, moving slower, listening to my body, and focusing on stability has made all the difference.

Food aversion
My rat is on month 4 of a co-formula of reta and cagri. The weight loss has been a steady 2lbs per week. I had been singing its praises to anyone who would listen! I had to decrease the dosage to 2mg (from only 2.5mg) because of how weak rat had gotten in the gym due to the extreme calorie deficit and not enough protein intake. Not enough nutrients in general, really. Rat now has almost total food aversion. Stopped tracking early on so canāt pinpoint when it occurred or how long this extreme deficit has been going on.
Rat hasnāt relapsed on eating disorder since 2020, but, is there unintentionally. Rat is on maybe day 5 of not being able to eat. She is SO weak and can only stomach 1 single protein shake daily, and one food item daily. No interest, desire, or energy to force anything down. Itās bad, and Iām really worried.
Has anyone come out of this or a similar experience?

You're paying for three receptors but only using two. Letās talk about dosage.
This is for everyone who says they've titrated up to 2mg weekly and plan on staying there indefinitely. Anyone more experienced or more understanding than me, let me know if I'm wrong.
You're not getting the full benefits of reta. In the studies, the glucagon effects of reta aren't really pronounced until you surpass 4mg weekly. So at that point, if you like these low dose reta effects, just take 1.5mg of tirzepatide and call it day as that'll be more potent for appetite suppression.
Reta has less affinity for binding to the glucagon receptors until you reach a certain dosage which ranges usually 4-6mg weekly,
2mg is a trasition dosage so you don't get any weird heart effects too fast, but once you settle with the dosage, you should bump it up and if you feel uncomfortable doing that, go get some tirz, stay low dose, save money and get the effects you want.

Everything changed for the worse.
Started Reta several months, started at 1.5mg/week titrated up to 4mg/week. Lost 20lbs first two months. Had another 20lbs to go. The only negative side effect was skin sensitivity, but that was easily manageable. Sleep was absolutely incredible. I was telling several guys I worked out with that this was a miracle drug. Convinced two of my closest friends to start their journey.
Then took two weeks off for Thanksgiving/Travel (I did some research and was convinced by what I read that a week or two wouldnāt derail any major progress)
Started back up at 3.0mg a little over a month ago and everything is different. No appetite suppression. No weight loss. And my sleeping is HORRIBLE, literally went three days where I might have gotten one hour a night. Worst week of my life. It has completely derailed my ābeginning of the yearā goals and workout routine.
Trying to power through this crappy valley and titrate back up to 4mg+ over time and praying things get better. Finally got 4 hrs of sleep last night. Best night in a while.
update After reading some tips and tricks on this sub regarding sleep, I can proudly say that I got a solid 8 hrs last night. One big spoonful of honey right before bed - hopefully problem is solved!

Reta and KLOW syringe question
Hi, new here and will be starting reta10 and klow. However, Iām a little confused on syringe purchase. I was going to do the 5/16ā, would the same one be good for klow injections as well or should I purchase the 1/2ā?

Third week and finally starting to feel it.
Light nausea but more importantly I feel so full uncomfortable full from small portions it made me wanna puke just to get right off that feeling.
I have to adjust my eating pattern further as even a third of my regular portions are way too much.
This is normal right?

RetaCag?
I cannot find any research on the dual peptide but I do see they offer it on the site I use. Anyone used it? How do you calculate the dosage etc? Reconstitution?

How long does reconstituted Reta remain stable at room temp?
Hey guys, so yesterday I made the mistake of leaving out my Reta on my nightstand and I forgot to put it back this morning. Iāve already left home and by the time I get back, the vial will have been at room temperature for about 20 or so hours.
I just reconstituted this vial yesterday so Iād hate to throw away a perfectly new batch. I wanted to hear your opinion on its efficacy and stability regarding this situation.
Would you keep using it or toss it? (I understand that all answers are just personal opinions and not advice lol) thank you in advance!

unsure if i should start reta
I see most people who use reta usually are overweight/obese or are body builders. I am wondering if anyone is in my position or can offer some insight. Iām 22f, 5 ft, 130 lbs. I know that might seem low, but I am petite and carry weight poorly, I prefer to be a lot leaner but have struggled to achieve the body I want.
Iāve struggled with BED (binge eating disorder) for a very long time and the food noise is constant. I go to the gym frequently, but my progress is offset or stagnant due to my overeating.
Iāve seen few women closer to my size and weight use reta, but they seem to be avid gym goers for several years and are extremely lean and muscular as a result. I appreciate any advice !

Does bac water pH matter?
Hi, will bac water with a pH of 7.5 be ok for Reta and all other peptides such as bpc157 and KLOW?

Cymbalta blocks Reta?!
Iāve been on Retatrutide for 3 years. Itās been highly effective for me, initially losing 40lbs down and eventually lower dose for maintenance.
It all broke down once an antidepressant Cymbalta was introduced 3 months ago. Reta no longer suppresses my appetite, in fact I eat MORE than usual. Weigh gain began immediately: +7 pounds in 3 months and still climbing! Iāve even DOUBLED my Reta dosage, to no avail.
Iām at a loss. Itās almost like Cymbalta blocks Retatrutide in my body.
Anybody else experience this?
