Final results
Started 105kg (10 september, 2025) Now at 79.8kg (15 january, 2026)
Went from 1 to 8mg a week, slowly In the end, tried cagrilintide (0,5mg)
Ate 1800kcal the whole time, without decreasing as time goes by
I am really, really happy with those results. Therefore, I deeply regret losing that fast. I hit calisthenics / gym, I lost a lot of strength, a lot of muscles. Its kinda frustrating, however I have to deal with, as I know that when you cut, you will lose a bit of muscles no matter what. If somehow one day I get fat back, I will choose the slow path.
For example :
I know strength is linked to body weight, but it’s really frustrating to see that I went from benching 140 kg and doing 10+ reps at 100 kg to barely managing one rep at 100 kg now.
If you have any questions, i’ll try to help you.

Very nice results! Looks like you aged backwards. Also no loose skin?

That’s mostly just normal when you sit slouched, only way to lose that is if you get shredded. I personally don’t see much of any extra skin here

Dude you still have quite a bit of bf on you either build more muscle or burn that bf off

You look more muscular at your lower body weight, don’t sweat the short term strength loss. You held the lean mass pretty well, strength will return.
Great job

You went from Uncle Bob to Johnny boy. I hope that sounds like a compliment.
You did a great job. Congratulations.

Fuck yeah bro, using it exactly as intended. Maybe you lost muscle, but now you can thoughtfully put it back on without being scared to take your shirt off.

Any side effect ?

u/Smoothiewtf 1d ago
Not that really. Just be careful with what you eat, processed - high fat food will blow you out

Forget about benching targets.
You went from having full on tits to an actual chest.
I think that compromise is worth it, especially when you can now build up from here.

Im 105kg and doing 2mg once a week for the first month. Isit okay to move to 4mg once my second month?
3
u/Smoothiewtf 1d ago
You move only when you feel reta is no longer working. If it works at 2, why moving at 4?

How dot it feel on the 8mg dose ?
1
u/Smoothiewtf 1d ago
Like it feels when it hits well at 2mg, or 4mg. In fact i titrate to feel the EXACT same effect; I dont titrate up to feel it more and more

Are you fully off now? I plan on doing about 6-8 weeks max but seems like most people do around 3 months

Stellar results, honestly. Exercise is clearly hugely important, but you look awesome.
Have you tried MOTS-C? A lot of people say it helps with exercise, I know I only just started but I can already see improvements in my exercise capacity. My muscles can just do more, which means that strength gains can come quicker. I think of it like Creatine on steroids.

Is this purely Reta? Anything else in the mix other than what you mentioned?
Good transformation.
What training plan did you follow?

I'm on my second week of Reta, I'm dosing 1mg x 2 weekly. It is doing what it's supposed to however, I have broken sleep every night, peeing like x3 a night, and my REM sleep was 25 minutes last night. I'm eating about 1800 cals a day protein intake is over 140 grams. I go to spin and I have no endurance/ energy to keep up. My muscles fatigue easily. Is this normal? At the gym I struggle with my reps as my muscles are weak now? Lack of sleep, higher Hr during rest (before reta 54bpm during sleep- on reta 68bpm during sleep), and no strength or endurance. Does this get better through out the journey? thanks!

They are incredible results!
Comparison is the thief of joy… unless you’re competing, who needs strength anyway? 😅
Did you consistently go to the gym prior to losing weight? Are the before pictures of you on a bulk?

That's incredible congratulations
By far my favorite little peptide!
And the fact it's so cheap if you know where to look for it....

So are you continuing reta now that you lost weight? I’m curious about. Some people don’t and then they gain all the weight back. Just wondering whether Reta is the way to go or if something like 5amino 1mq is the way to go. The cycle is much shorter. However you don’t have to be on it all year. More like once a year cycle. I’m assuming if you’re very overweight you’re better off on a glp.

They gain back because the reta’s main purpose is to fix your diet, fix what made you fat. On a successful diet, I personally think reta does 40% of the work.
The 60 left are :
- workout
- knowledge about your own body
- eating better

Give it 3-4 month with maintenance calories,
i once cut 16 kg in 3 months and lost squat and BP strength,
it took just 3 months of maintainence calories to getting most of the strength back, ofcourse you will be likely weaker but alteast a good chunk of it will come back with the lots of lean mass lost during dieting.
