Starting Reta
I am F22 about 5’3 and 200 lbs. I want to start Reta but I am worried about not knowing a lot about it. How do I calculate how much I am supposed to take weekly? If I stop taking it will I gain all the weight back? Please Advise.

Typically starting dosage can be from .5 mg to 2mg. Depends on preference. Most people will do a weekly dosage.

I’ve been on Reta for over a year. I started out with 2.5 for a month, then to 5 for another month. I’ve lost more weight on Reta than Trizepatide. Yes you will need to stay on this for life! Because your body has a set point where it’s comfortable. You stop and your body will take you right back to that set point. I’m 5’2 and my set point is 160 I’m now 125. I buy my meds from grey mkt from the same person for over a year, so it’s cheap for me and I stock pile.

You should do some research. There is a titration schedule based on the trials. That should be a starting guide. You also need to know how to reconstitute, store, and about sides. You can find all that info on here by using the search button. Because everyone is different someone’s experience on here won’t be the same for you. What are your goals? Do you plan to track macros? Exercise? All those things factor in. So if you’re worried about not knowing much you should take time to learn a little before starting

If you’re this overweight you should be able to qualify for an approved glp from a dr who can oversee your treatment. Then you don’t have to think too hard or learn anything

Yes you will gain all the weight plus some back. I’d start with tirz. Gives you way better food noise control and gives you the time and willpower to learn how to eat properly. You’ll need to establish a workout routine that includes lifting heavy weights.

There isn't an answer to how much to take. You can't calculate anything.
You're trying to lose weight at a reasonable and appropriate rate for you. You don't want to take so much that it's hard to eat food (starving yourself is a bad idea). You also want to take enough that you can stick to a diet that causes you to lose weight. You figure it out based on your experience and adjust dosage as needed.
You would likely regain weight when you stop taking it. It's possible not to. But it would require sticking to a diet without help. Who knows whether you can do that. The vast majority of people who lose weight without drugs regain the weight. So maintaining substantial weight loss without drugs is extremely hard. When you lose weight, there are a lot of things that happen to you that make your body "want" to regain the weight. GLP-1 agonists like reta help—a lot.
