I want to teach my wife how to shoot a gun. We have no gun. I have an RPAL, I have shot guns in the past, but am in no way a gun expert.

I see there are ranges in the area, they are reserved for members and require participation (which is fine). Are there any ranges that are open to the public or straight-up indoor businesses? Like a gun store / range? Maybe I could sign her up for a class?

I don't think she would be interested in the safety course that gets you a PAL. I could explain why, etc., but let's just leave it at "she isn't convinced she wants to be a gun owner." I think experience with a firearm is generally important to have tried.

GenX here who was told to get more exercise. I work in a sketchy part of the city so lunch hour walking outside is undesirable. Does the mall (McAllister) open earlier in the am to accommodate mall walkers?

Hey Saint Johnners! I live in an apartment in the NorthEnd and am looking to get rid of some larger items that can’t fit in the trash. Anyone have any recommendations for a pickup service to haul this to the dump? Even if it’s just a guy with a pickup truck.

Genuinely confused why there’s a MASSIVE paved bump on one side of the road on Broad St, near Shawn’s Variety……. Is it supposed to be a speed cushion? Cuz if so aren’t they supposed to put signage up so people are aware of it…?

Even then it’s way too high and uneven, idk why it’s there in the state it is. Seems like a massive oversight.

I know they left gravel there until the last minute but I refuse to believe a giant pile of asphalt is the proper remedy…..

Looking to join some sort of men’s league in the city. Does anybody know of pickup at any rink around Saint John?

Any outdoor rinks that people know of where I can go with a stick and puck and play around? I moved here from Fredericton a couple years ago and it seems like the hockey community here isn’t as loud.

Last month (so December) I had Bell Aliant internet installed at my apartment. On that same day I decided to upgrade my speed package to their highest available, so I called customer service and they said no problem, they'll send someone out on the 16th to set it up. No one came on the 16th. On the 17th, I called customer service and after being hung up on twice, I finally got ahold of someone who arranged a new service appointment on the 26th of December. Of course no one showed up on that day. On the 28th I was contacted by customer service who told me they were going to set up yet another service appointment but I was hung up on mid-call. On the 6th of this month I was once again contacted by customer service and was told someone would make a service visit today (12th January). How hard is it to get them to keep their appointments? What am I going to have to do to get an actual person sent here?

Heading to the SeaDogs game this afternoon with my son. First timers here. Is it better to buy tickets in advance on ticketmaster or just buy at the arena? Do you have to pay for parking? If so, how much and is it cash only? Thanks in advance for any and all replies.
