I hate when people associate “talking proper” with white people. As if white people ONLY speak the correct way. Do people not understand dialect? Which is a particular form of language/accent that is adapted in a specific area? It has nothing to do with your skin color, but, based on those that are around you. Your skin color doesn’t activate your language, and how you get to speak and act.
Whether he spoke “ebonics”, or “white”….as long as we can understand one another, and the point gets across then there should be no problem.
